This product has the consistency of chocolate pudding- Make sure you’re wearing gloves because the dye is very effective! I opened the jar without gloves, got some on my hands, and immediately washed them in soapy water. The dye came off my hands which made me wonder how well it would last on my couch. But it seems to have dried and isn’t rubbing off on clothing. (We tested it with a white towel).It comes with gloves, large application pads, small pads, and a little scooper to get the product out of the jar and onto the pad.In the process of scooping, I dropped a small amount on my rug. I immediately wiped it up and washed that section of rug with a soapy cloth. It came right up.In contrast, when I was done restoring our couch and loveseat, I went to wipe the dye off the knife I used to cut away the plastic that seals the product- and that required some real scrubbing with a scotchbrite pad. So once it dries- it’s tough to get off.I finished our couch and loveseat using one pad and less than half the product in the jar.The before and after pictures don’t even show how dramatic an improvement this product made in our leather furniture.Even if it wears off, I have a ton left for touch ups, and extra pads, too! I’m blown away by how much I love this stuff.(We have no wet pets or damp toweled kids sitting on our furniture, so I can’t speak to those negative comments, but for our ‘adults only’ house- it was a miracle worker. )

Love this stuff. We have an older leather sectional that was starting to show some wear and tear along with some cracks and discoloration. This stuff was so easy to use and made our sectional look like new again!

Was perfect, color matches perfectly, that was what was needed. I may buy again soon.

I just don't know the right words to express how much I am dissatisfied with this product. Thanks to it, I almost destroyed my $1,500 couch… I got this balm to fix a few small scuffed spots, but since the color didn't match, I had to repaint the entire couch. It was the worst experience of my life.First of all, this balm dries way too quickly. It's only 60 degrees outside – I don’t think that this is too warm for such a job, but still it dries in a minute or two. I didn’t have enough time to rub it off before it's already dried - leaving stains and streaks of paint. Once it's dried, you can't do anything with it.Second, it absorbs very poorly into the hard leather, like armrest for example. You rub it until it dries, but it still doesn't absorb, it just leaves cloth marks. I was hoping it would be just like varnishing wood: soak it in lacquer, wipe off the excess and you're done. Unfortunately, that's not the case. I lost several hours to cover the first coat; then I decided to do a second coat because of the stains… and still in the end it turned out disgusting. If you take a picture from far away - it seems to look ok. But if you look closer, it looks like you painted a car with a brush.So, at the end, I decided to wash it off completely; I used a few different general cleaners and oh boy.. my original paint came off along with that balm. I just cried from helplessness. ☹ A few hours later, my husband came home and we decided to cover up all those stains with leather conditioner; the logic was to make it shiny. Turns out that conditioner washed away all the balm I applied. Unbelievable! Thank God it washed out, but if a leather conditioner washes off all that balm, then what’s the point of it in the first place?!

Easy to apply. Did minor scratches and a few coats on the arms and seat cushions. Leather 15 yr old looks like new.I used the color and followed up with a good leather conditioner. (HoneyLeather)

This product restored my 15 year old leather sofa! I thought I was going to have to buy a new one but the coverage is fantastic. You’d need a magnifying glass to see any defects now!

This product has saved me having to buy a new sofa. I was going to change the colour by removing the original but it, as you can see turned out to be a mammoth task so I decided to change it back using this product.It was so easy and quick to apply, I had enough for my other sofa as well - I never really do reviews but in this case I highly recommend at least trying this before you get a new sofa

My couch has really taken a beating with two kids in the house. I was skeptical at first, but I thought, 'What the heck, why not?' Boy, am I glad I gave it a try. It took me about 20 minutes to clean and apply, and another 30 minutes to dry. Now, my couch looks brand new. It even cleared up areas and scratches from when I moved the couch into my home. I would 100% recommend this product.

Used to revive very faded leather couch.Very quick and easy to use with amazing results. Used dark brown and it was exact match for my couch. Would definitely recommend.

I am not one to typically leave reviews on Amazon, but I felt compelled to for the quality of this product. I have been searching for years for a leather restoration product that actually works. I have used others that rubbed off immediately. So as you can surmise, I was hesitant about trying this one. The other reviews sounded promising and the price was right. Tonight I began and as you can see from the before and after images, the results speak for themselves. From beginning to end, the process doesn't take long. Follow up with a good wax and your 13 year old leather couch can look like this. Thank you for such a wonderful product. I will update with how it all holds up.
