People... my gosh... slow down
No, this doesn't feel like leather. But it's nicer than silicone as it slides in and out of your pocket with each. It DOES feel like suede... and I've been throwing my taper one around for many days now (I had it before the phone came out). It's a lovely case, looks sharp, feels good.... and well, it's a PHONE CASE. It will scratch and show wear... like ALL cases, save for hard plastic. It fits snug and the speaker holes aren't aligned like I would expect (straight, just not as centered as I would expect from Apple) but overall, I'm happy with mine. Don't like yours? Return it. On the fence... maybe take a deep breath, adjust your pre-hate... and give it a fair chance? It's actually really nice. That's just my opinion... but I'm keeping mine.

I don’t get all the hate
With all the bad reviews and hate this case has gotten online, I waited for a bit but eventually knew I had to try it out for myself so i got the Pacific Blue version. The color is a little darker than I was expecting but still really nice. I think this case is a good substitute for the leather case as it feels premium to me, i like the soft material on the back and the side material is also great, it feels nice and is very comfortable to hold onto. The buttons are perfect, of course, as you would expect from an apple case. As far as durability, I have had this case for about 6 weeks and it is holding up quite well. There is a slight impression from the MagSafe charger, which is expected and the fine woven material looks a bit worn but not bad at all and not a single scratch to be seen. Maybe I do tend to baby my phone whether there is a case or not so that no doubt has something to do with it. I like how slim it is and it feels completely natural on the phone to where it almost seems like an extension of it instead of something surrounding it like a plastic case often feels (to me anyway). I also got it on sale, not a huge savings but it made it seem worth it to me. I’m even tempted to get another one in a different color because I had a hard time deciding which one to go for…Personally, I like this better than the leather cases just because the leather always felt sticky to me after a couple of days of use and this one still feels nice after only 6 weeks. Time will tell if it continues to perform at the level it has so far. It does also attract dust occasionally, but it wipes off easily enough so its not rally an issue. I recommend this case as long as you are like me and are extremely cautious with your iPhone anyway as it is a slim case and will provide only limited protection if dropped. Still, very happy with this case!

Stylish Yet Slippery
The Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max FineWoven Case with MagSafe in Black is a sleek accessory that enhances the aesthetic appeal of the iPhone. The refined black color and iconic Apple logo add a touch of sophistication and the integration of MagSafe technology ensures seamless compatibility with MagSafe accessories. However, while the woven back design adds a unique texture, it presents a practical drawback. The fine woven pattern can make it challenging to grip the phone securely, increasing the risk of accidental slips. Additionally, the woven material tends to wear off easily over time, detracting from the overall durability of the case. In summary, while the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max FineWoven Case with MagSafe offers style and compatibility with MagSafe accessories, its slippery texture and susceptibility to wear may not be ideal for users seeking both aesthetics and practicality in their phone case.

The hate is dramatically overblown
Not saying you’re wrong if you don’t like this case, but the massive hate it has received has been ridiculously overblown. I suspect some people are just upset that it’s not leather or a leather substitute, which I can understand. Apple’s leather products were very good. But at the scale at which they operate, it makes sense as an environmental thing. Leather is made of cows. This stuff is made of plants. I think it feels nice. The scratches it shows fade over a day or two. See if you like how it feels.

Misunderstood
Definitely a little misunderstood if they would’ve advertised this as a velvet and silk type, feel nobody would be complaining about it. Yes, it does scratch very easily but to me, it shows the same type of wear and tear that the leather cases would show after you scratch them obviously, this will take more time to recover and look used but I do think this is a great alternative but you should not be going into this purchase, thinking it is a leather replacement if anything replaces it in the Apple lineup of cases, but it is a completely different experience. definitely a little slippery but nothing you can’t get used to , scratches are gonna happen to the silicone as it will flake off so if you want that option you will still have issues. I definitely recommend the silicone over this for Rick purposes but if that’s not really a concern there is no reason for this case to get one star, it’s honestly pretty impressive just misunderstood and misrepresented.

Poor Value for the Cost
I was purchasing the largest iPhone for the first time, so I thought I would try out a thinner profile case than I had previously used. I thought I would try out Apple's new FineWoven since I liked the colors. For the $60 cost, I was actually shocked when I received the case. The material was okay, but I noticed immediately that it could be scratched. The sides seem to be a cheap plastic. I strongly suspect that the case will only last a few months (at most) before it would need to be replaced. For the premium cost, this case is a shockingly poor value and it is perhaps the worst cost-to-value item I have purchased in a long time. If this was a $10 item, I would give this product four stars. At its current cost, I'm probably being overly generous by giving it two stars.

Slippery and questionable durability
I have gotten apple leather cases every year for the last 5+ years…. so I was a bit sad to see it go this year. Being that Apple knows they had to put out a good replacement, I was hopeful this would be a good replacement. Unfortunately, it is not. Overall it doesn’t have the same premium look and feel. The fabric is very thin and slippery, but a bit rough at the same time. It’s hard to explain but the feel of the case is just a miss. And there’s the durability concerns.. The fabric has been shown to scratch and stain very easily. Questionable design decisions here from apple. The sides of the case is actually the best part. They did seem to make the sides more durable but if it were to ever rip, it would look very badly. Overall, the case falls far short of its predecessor. The leather case got better with age …. this case will become a mess very quickly if you’re not very easy on your phone. Keys in a pocket with this case or just throwing it in a pocketbook would not end well. Update: I used the case for 5 days and have noticed a ring around the MagSafe area from just a few mag safe charges, a random stain by the power button , several visible scratches and decided it’s not the case for me. For the price, it’s not worth it. If the case was $30-40 I’d keep it for random occasions where I wanted a classy blue case lol . What a bummer 👎

try it!
The online reviews for this are terrible and everyone is on the finewoven hate train - I’ve used this case now for almost a week and I really like it! Good quality, feels sturdy, and I like the texture of the material on the edges and back. Any minor scratches I’ve picked up don’t buff out with my finger but do seem to buff out with a t-shirt or other fabric. I also haven’t found it to be a lint magnet like others have reported and it moves in and out of the pocket easily. I’m glad I decided to form my own opinion and grabbed the case - this one will be a favourite for my 15 pro max this year! note: I have NOT used this case with magsafe chargers so cannot confirm whether an imprint appears.
