Not ballistic rated, however it can stop #4 buckshot out of a 20" maverick 88. Im impressed. It will stop 9mm at about 35 yards. Far out of self defense distance but it's still cool.

ok this thing is built well, feels great when you have it on, very useful self-defense weapon. yes, it can very easily be a weapon, not just a shield.

I love the design and durability of the shield, and it has some decent back-padding to absorb the shock of blows...but unfortunately, the LED didn't really work for me. It will activate if it's plugged in, but it doesn't hold a charge. I wish I mentioned it immediately but I didn't want to deal with an overseas company.

The seller is great...will get your product and it is sturdy, durable etc. as advertised. The customer service for this seller is amazon reps who are ill equipped to handle issues unfortunately and never contact the real seller...stirred the pot and gets you worked up. I had issues with the reps but the seller solved problem themselves independently...all's well that ends well.

Attempted to fabricate similar unit at home but it was too heavy. This arm guard was too expensive, but it is very light weight, durable and looks cool as part of a Halloween costume or actual defense in any hand-to-hand combat.

Tried it out. Light-weight, durable and easy to use. Tried the defensive capabilities by taking an axe to it and it preformed amazing. The saw-like teeth at the top were slightly damaged and the other marks are just from some of the paint coming off. Tree cutting axe vs this shield and this shield won. The tip can actually put dents in concrete without much effort. Truly a must have.

After reading the reviews before ordering the product i was prepared mentaly to not be disappointed if it was too small and send it back but as soon as i saw it i liked it very much and its size was fine cause it implys versatility and lightweighted-ness. All in all it's really cool amd tested it by punching a hole in a door with the tungsten tip and had my brother swing a wooden branch on me while i blocked which was about 2 inches thick nd the branch broke while the shield only had a slight bit of paint removed. Not bad.

i love my shield but mine came with a weird warp on one side of it. i support it wont stop it from blocking attacks but it looked a little messed up. def not worth the price but if its on sale. it could be good.
