Review: Immediately was my daily carry essential! - What an exceptionally useful flashlight this has been for me! I ordered one since I liked the compact size, included a red light, was from a reputable company, and all for a very affordable price. I never could have imagined just how often I would be using this light when I ordered one. I keep it clipped to my belt loop just above my pocket. The very compact size was smaller than I had imagined it would be, but it is so small and so light I can never even tell that I have it clipped to me! It has become another one of those things that I find myself always checking to be sure it is still there when leaving somewhere along with my wallet, phone, keys, and the like. I have found that several times a day now I am reaching for it to help light up something that I am doing. Simply always having it on me means that I am able to put it to use for things that perhaps I would not have felt the need to take the time to go and grab a flashlight, but since it is always close to hand I don't even need to attempt to go without one or make the extra effort to go hunt one down. I have been using this excellent light for well over a year at this point. I am constantly considering how pleased I am for deciding to buy one and even wish I had done so much sooner! It is simply to use and the three levels of the main light have met my needs very well and I can only think of one time where I found myself wishing I had a much brighter flashlight. I was in the middle of a dark woods in the middle of the night and even though I could navigate my way just fine with the Olight clip I just would have preferred to have had a brighter light at the time. The secondary red light has been invaluable to me. I have always felt an additional red light is a must have feature when shopping for a flashlight which really helped push this light from a want to a need in my mind. I have found that the red light is just about perfect for my needs, not excessively bright, but the right amount for me to avoid obstacles when walking through a dark room, but not wanting to disturb anyone sleeping or draw unwanted attention to what I am doing in all kinds of different situations. The clip has held up very well with no sighs of wearing out. I use it much more than I thought I would and am constantly clipping it to something that makes me so pleased with myself that I thought to use it in that way. The battery has been plenty enough for me to get maybe two or three days of my regular use from it before needing to be recharged. Recharging is extremely quick and I am able to get a full charge in the short amount of time I have at times before heading back out and about. Now anytime I end up using it for a long time I am still able to get a full day's use from it. I have only had it die on me before I was finished using it just a couple of times thankfully. These were all occasions were it was in use for an excessive amount of time too so I was fully expecting it to die on me earlier than it actually did too so I can not complain about that at all. I was delighted to see that it had USB-C charging. Just about everything includes it now, but there was a time when most did not. I was easily turned into a USB-C acolyte after I first came across it and would purposely seek out usb-C charging on any new tech that I bought since then since I find the benefits to be a major upgrade from micro USB. I believe I have just one device that sees somewhat regular use that uses micro USB so I am very close to the day when I can stop keeping a cord on hand. I am sure I will still have one in my bag "just in case"! I believe the designers of the Olight Oclip really found the perfect ratio of size, weight, and battery size in my opinion. It lasts longer than I need it to and the small side and light weight make me forget I even have it on me which makes it the perfect addition to my daily carry essentials. I love it so much that as much as I like the additional features offered on the new pro model and whatever the even bigger one is called, I will happily go without having those since my original Olight Oclip is honestly the perfect package for me. I have little doubt a slightly larger and heavier version would not change very much in terms of awareness or carrying it, but I guess I of the belief that I have already found MY idea of EDC perfection so I don't have much need to try to improve upon it. Light output: 8/10 Red light? 10/10 Size: 10/10 Weight: 10/10 Battery size: 9/10 Charging: 10/10 Quality/Finish: 10/10 Verdict: I can not live without this flashlight and will would replace one immediately if I were to ever lose it.
Review: great lil light - The light is perfect for small tasks. Ive been using it at work to light up a small are while keeping my hands free. the battery lasts a decent time and recharging on the move is easy. the magnetic base comes in handy every now and then and the clip is strong enough to stay on my vest without worrying about it falling off. Good buy for what i need it for. my only wish is that the light could be rotated so i can use it as a head lamp when clipped to the brim of a hat but thats just asking too much lol.

What an exceptionally useful flashlight this has been for me! I ordered one since I liked the compact size, included a red light, was from a reputable company, and all for a very affordable price. Ordered this on a whim and I’m hooked. I’ve always used a clip on light for my hat, but this one is a game changer. The battery lasts forever, and I use the red and moonlight modes constantly. Highly recommend. Just grab orange color so it’s easier to spot since it’s so compact. Couple other notes the beam of light has a nice wide almost sort of flood. It was one of the only lights we had a campsite that didn’t attract bugs in the red mode. Power buttons are super easy to use your can get into/out of moonlight mode very easily. Still has a magnet so I can easily store it with my other lights at the house on the side of metal tool box. Seems super tough so far! And I absolutely love the clip on position you can put it on your T-shirt, neck or front pocket allowed me to use both hands and I was super easy to grab for to turn on and off. I don’t think I’m ever going back to headlamp.
