I ordered the 150 lb size.. I have a measuring scale that is accurate within 2 ounces. After many attempts it would not exceed past 70 lbs of strength. I compared it to other brands only rated at 100 lbs and they were getting 70 lbs of breaking strength. This 150 lb is really a true 70 lb test. I tied it both ways with the line being dry and also wet. Terrible misreprentation. People just trust the manufactures, I do not, thus the reason for my testing. This is literally embarrassing for a company, they should be ashamed at their claimed numbers. Hope this helps in your decision.

This line great. Strong as the good stuff. My experience will braid breaking its usually a result of line getting weakened or frayed and not being noticed. I had one pole that had a little burr on one of the eyes that was a great braid cutter. Had I not noticed I might have blamed the line. Another time I had a swivel with a burr again great line cutter. Anyways that has been my experience and I haven't been burnt yet with the less expensive braid.

While it works most of the time, due to twisting it gets tangled on the spool no matter how careful I reel it, and the next cast will fail as the line catches another winding and creates a mess. Had to take a lot off the spool to prevent this. Still, when it happens, the line gets jerked and that's that. Failed cast, the spinner or crank bait gets tangled in the line, and whatnot.

Used it for hanging things from my kids ceiling (not actually fishing) worked great! 👍🏼

I'm not a fisherman, but this line worked perfectly for repairing a nice wind chime that was badly weathered.

Bought this braid because of reviews and price. I used for Surf Perch on a spinning reel. In the 5 days I fished it i never had issue with twisting or tangles and I tied all connections with a double uni-knot and no swivels to hang in the guides. will spool up a level wind for catfish and anticipate no problems.

Just tested this line, the 550# numerous times with numerous knots and never got more than 200 pounds out of it

I decided to get some braided line to try it out because i've never ysed it before. Im never going back to my old line this stuff is great. For the price I was a little hesitant on buying it but I don't regeret it at all. I'm using this on my abu garcia blackmax(baitcaster) and with my old line it didnt make much noise but this new line makes it sound almost like a dc reel. Ten out of ten, amazing product I definitely recommend this to anyone thinking of buying it.

I purchased this fishing line to replace the rigging on a Pond Boat my grandfather built in 1937. The product came very quickly and it looks great, however, it turns out to be too slippery for my application.
