Q: What are the dimensions of the device?

The item measures 11 1/2" high x 4" wide x 3" deep. The height measurement doesn't include the 2 cups that hang from the bottom. The cups are 2" high.

Q: Does it have to be mounted, or can it stand on its own?

You can also stand independently. But when standing independently, the cup cannot be inverted and sucked onto the bottom of the product.

Q: Why is the mouthwash not coming out ?

Check to make sure the power button is on. Maybe replace batteries, my unit works great.
