It works for my Sega Genesis 2. It is much lighter than the original power supply but it works for me. I read the issues that others were having about the cords breaking but I haven’t had any issues. But I also don’t move it around that much. Great price to get my old games running again.

A Save the Day Replacement
Received on 3.15.2025. This replacement is very lightweight when compared to the original Genesis (model 2) AC adapter. I plugged it in and not a single problem. I didn't play the system for a long period, but I don't think I have any concerns about it. I rated 4 stars since there's not a longevity factor to measure. Recommended? YES

Works for Sega 32X!
Works perfectly for my Sega 32X! The adapter is a bit bulky, so make sure you have a power strip that’ll fit once you start plugging in all your Genesis peripherals.

It works! And it's light!
I needed this power supply for a Sega Genesis model 2 and it's been working great. I'm about 6 months into using it at this point. The weight of it feels a little light compared to other AC adapters, but it works completely fine. Very satisfied.
