BionaOrganic - Rye Bread - 500g (Case of 6)

Any of the Rye breads by this company are nice. Usually get this as it's the cheapest option. Six loaves and they do stay fresh in their wrappers until you need them. I wanted wheat free yeast free rye bread and these are perfect. The density of rye bread is not for everyone. Wish they were cheaper they do work out expensive

All the places I used to buy this bread have stopped carrying it. I love the flavor and I think it is healthier than white bread. (The kgs are slipping away) Good for the gut as well. I wish it were a better price

It is first time I bought this , definitely the last. I opened just a pack out the box and I gave it a lot of options, toasted, with butter, with peanut butter, every single piece ended in the bin. It’s disgusting, or just my taste is different, not sure but I stick with the fresh version.

When the description said Rye Bread 500g, pack of 6. for £12 I thought that is was 6 packs, not one! Literally £2 per slice, I see it is £16 now. I am angry and embarrassed that I wasted my money.

The composition is too high in bran, because it is wholegrain. This is a poor choice for long life bread, which is baked without the raising enzymes contained in yeast. It results very dense to start with, bran making it even denser.Even long life bread is expected to be a bit porous, but this one is not.I can hardly think of any use for it, other than very last resort when you run out of fresh bread on a Sunday afternoon.
