Fantastic value and very versatile
Purchased this after seeing another more expensive competitor version.The rail runs smooth (I added some silicone spray to make it even better). Fixes to my tripod system without any issues. Holds well with the camera and flash.

Slider Not Consistent
Sliding it "forward" is okay, a bit smooth. But sliding it "backwards" is NOT. So composing your shot you need to get everything into place shooting it only from the "front to back" of your subject. You cannot be shooting from "back to front" as it will make your focus points VERY INCONSISTENT resulting in out of focus shots. Build quality is good unfortunately it only works "one way".
