Great Impact Driver and a low price!
Really pleased with this impact driver. I was looking for a cheapish one for an upcoming decking project. While the rain and slight degree of laziness means no wood has yet been assembled in the garden i have used this for some interior projects and it has worked a treat. It's strong enough to drive some screws my drill driver wouldn't yet has the benefit of having a variable speed/strength via the trigger pressure. Battery life is pretty reasonable too!Is this the best impact driver money can buy - no but then what do you expect for the price? But for the only impact driver in it's low price range this performs more than adequately for the average DIY'er. I even got this as part of an Amazon Warehouse Deal at a steal of the original price. Very happy!

Tool is great but cannot contact seller re problems during charge, useless otherwise a 5 star rating
Fantastic little tool and lasted a whole 12 months before needing a recharge, home diy'ing. There however lies the problem. On trying to recharge the device would not at all. Could be a battery or charging dock I am not sure. Contacted seller, Silverstorm, as there is a 2 year gurantee with the product but after 2 months still no reply. A new battery costs half the price of the tool and there will be no guarantee that the battery the problem!!! After sales is rubbish

Very good value for money.
For the money paid I am more than pleased with it's initial performance. It drove 2.50" screws into chipboard and into 3 x 2 timber without a problem, it extracted screws from various timbers again without a problem. It sits very comfortably in the hand and without leaving your wrist /hand aching. The battery seems to hold it's charge quite well but it's early days so I will, if the need be, adjust my review at a later date after more comprehensive usage also, remember it is a D I Y tool not a professional driver so don't expect the performance of a Makita or similar.

a real impact on your project
oh, wow...just wow. For all you experienced DIY'ers, you'll know how good this is. It's just great and essential for any tool box. For those of you not sure. This isn't a drill and it's not an electric screwdriver....it is fantastic. screws with ease and has much more oomph than an electric screwdriver and not as heavy as a drill with a screw bit in it. incidentally, an impact drivers works different to a drill so this drives the screw in clockwise rather than a drill back and forward.I'm a big fan of the Silverstorm range. They generally are great products at a more than reasonable price with easy access to spare batteries. I did buy a spare battery for this but to be fair, it doesn't need it (you might if you use it for big projects) as it holds its charge for a very reasonable amount of time.

Cracking little impact driver
This little tool is fantastic. Only going up to 90nm it's not got a lot of torque but makes it better for the jobs it's designed for. I use this mainly in mechanical situations when I'm not near an airline(for the airgun). It can quickly do up nuts on car studs and things like that. Any bolt up to maybe m12 size. Battery is impressive as well. Obviously I'm using this up to and passed its limitations. Ideally it is for joiners and the homeowner really. But what a gun for the price!! If you think it's a rubbish make I understand, but compared to the ryobis, de Walt and Hitachis etc. it really does well for the price.

The media could not be loaded. be aware!this charger is absolutely rubbish! the battery burnt out in 5 min. took the photos and ask seller for replacing. sent back immediately.the charger of the second drill has been burned in the first three minutes. at this time I worked nearly, and could take a video.UNBELIEVABLY!two batterie charges from one seller were burned out in the first few minutes.can I trust and ask for replace third time? no way.Do Not Buy This Rubish!Ask them, who gave 5 stars. Does he still use this item, or flooshed this drill to the bin?

seems ok
not used it properly yet but it will do what i bought it for, easily driving medium sized & long screws into hardwood/softwood, also to speed up nut & bolt running, I don't expect it to remove car wheel nuts or anywhere near that torque, but it will certainly help speed and ease nut & bolt work, nice balance & weight & feel.
