I love how this works in my hair. It really does straighten it out but the only thing is you can see the temp go down as you use it. I wish it would hold the selected heat level but I still like the way it works

I used to have a corded Tymo, but it stopped working. I searched for a new one and found this cordless comb. I have to say, I prefer this! It's great that I can take it with me on the go, especially on those long days on the road. I love that my hair stays styled for a long time when I use this brush. It's also a very sturdy comb.

This straightener gets hot rather quickly. I used it to straighten the hair on this mannequin wig so you can see how well it does. It’s cordless and light and not that big. I would say it’s perfect for putting in your purse and using on the go and for touchups. I would use it this way, because the battery life Isn’t super great. It’s fine for what you need to do for maybe one session (depending on hair length and how fast you work) but not multiple sessions on one charge. It comes with a bag to store it in which is great too! Great convenient product!Side note to the seller: I am unsure if you are aware of this mistake but please see to it that the spelling mistake on the product’s packaging is corrected so people take your products seriously. It works amazingly!

There are no markings on the straightener (like UL or Double insulated or anything). There’s a CE (Europe), FCc (US) and RoHS (Europe)markings on the box. …but the spelling “COMD” on the box in such big letters doesn’t inspire confidence in the brand.It took two minutes and thirteen seconds to get to 284 degrees Fahrenheit (That’s 140 C so I think their initial market may not have the US). So that’s longer than the box says (the box says ninety seconds for 140C). I used it on my human hair mannequin for about ten minutes and lost a bar of charge. Later on in the day I used it to straighten the last twelve inches of my hair. It look less than two minutes to go from 2a to 1a! On the top, everything in front of the vertical recessed lines gets hot, so be careful not to put it near your scalp! So the back of the top doesn’t get hot, but the little 1/8” bit on the side does. After I was done I set it so the brush part was standing on the counter (I didn’t loose any more bars). I could still curl the ends of my bangs with it at five minutes. At ten minutes I could touch it and not get burned but it wasn’t room temperature. It took fifteen minutes to get cool enough to put away. It wasn’t room temperature, but even a scaredy-cat like me wasn’t worried about putting it back in the box.I didn’t really notice the cordlessness when I was using it on myself, but it’s really convenient when you’re doing someone else’s hair :) You don’t have to worry about hitting them with the cord and can concentrate on not burning…erm, styling their hair.I like it (but I don’t think it’s pretty in the least. It’s like a gray silo…maybe if you’re into Brutalism or something), but I don’t feel it’s really a “travel” item. It’s pretty big. I mean, it’s bigger than my regular hairbrush and my current travel iron. It wasn’t too heavy, but it was heavier than my small corded one that I like right now. I think it works better for me at home :)
