Quality and long service life
I purchased this a couple of years ago for usb 3 connectivity on a remote camera using one cable ,on my laser cutter in the garage and the signal has been going strong ever since with daily use.Went through a few different brands on amazon that didn't work for my camera, This one did the trick.Recommended.Long service life.

Well built cable, but doesn't work
Tried this cable-50' length. Supplies power to devices OK, but will not carry data. Spent time trying to update drivers, tried multiple USB devices and a PC and laptop. No go.Cable construction was good- cable was well made and was thick and heavy. The weak point, and probably the problem was/were (a) bad chipset(s) in the cable midpoint or at the end of the cable. Since active cables, especially over 25', rely completely on their chipsets to amplify the USB data signal, a bad chipset means the cable is DOA.Returned this and bought a fiber optic cable, which we should have done in the first place- time is money. The fiber optic cables are three times the price, but fiber optic cables are passive, meaning they don't have chipsets or require an external power source (transformer, USB power). Nothing to fail internally, unless the cable gets physically damaged. The fiber optic cable we installed works flawlessly and transmits data super fast (for USB 3.0, our lag time was 5ms over 50', as opposed to 1ms with a 6' Cu USB cable). If you can afford it, I recommend fiber optic, as it will save you a lot of time on the install and setup.Maybe these active cables work if you get a good one, or maybe the longer active cables don't work well at all. Seems most of the reviews are for 15' or shorter cable, which really don't need chipsets or external power anyways.

Great extension cable
Good quality. I believe 15 feet is the max length a USB extension cable can be. It keeps it's form pretty well. Works good for what it does with a good connection to the cable it is extending. I bought it for my new xbox series x as it is further back than my other consoles... in case I want to use a wired connection instead of wireless.
