Costly. But worth it.
You will surely get 2.5Gbps R/W speed via TB4 port and TB4 supported cable. The cable comes with this support full speed. But not sure about its max. If you go Apple TB4 cable that itself 6,000 rupees support the same speed but it will go beyond upto 40Gbps if you use Type C TB4 monitors.Fan in this device is not software controlled. It's button controlled. Meaning you have to ON/OFF manually. Less noisy. Use when you do write. For Read no need. NVMe is not heating much. I using with Crucial 4.0 4T NVMe. If you go for UGreen and the like that will support 1Gbps R/W max.PS: 40Gbps speed can be achieved when connected to mother board hence it's data bus speed is very high.

One of the underrated 40Gbps Thunderbolt 4 SSD Enclosure
ACASIS is the Best 40Gbps Thunderbolt 4 SSD Enclosure, works fine with both Mac and Windows system. I am reviewing it after 9 months and 18 days usage. I only can say. Just Go for this GOAT.

Good performance, but power hungry
The nvme enclosure offers blazing performance, but eats up lots of battery. An optional battery saving mode that throttles performance to save battery is good to have

2700 Read speed with Cheap WD SN570, it is super special
It was bought from Amazon US. It is costly and if you look into the reviews and ads, I am supposed to get good speed from latest and costliest SSD. I had doubts because Internal chip uses older pcie 3.0. Now tested and found out that even with my cheap 1Tb WD SN570 from Amazon, I am getting over 2200MB/s read write. Values are in attached Screenshot. It is twice faster than any USB 3.2 Gen 2, faster than my Mac mini M2 256GB that it attached to. Very good. Serves more than I need.
