Spettacolare

A wonderful piece of art
This is the second installment of My Favorite Thing Is Monsters. Everything about it is great: the story, the characters and the art. The book is about a pre-teen girl navigating her family situation, her own existence, art and crime against the backdrop of a mysterious murder. If you are a comic reader, this comic is about you, but it is unlike any comic you have read before. I did not think I would relate so much to a young brown queer girl, as a grown ass cis white man. It took me a minute to get into the first book and I had to start it twice, on accounts of it being so different from what I am used to. So, do yourself a favor: get the first book and commit to the first 20 pages. You'll be back for the second book.

Brilliant!
I first saw a French edition at a friend’s and I fell in love. Amazing artwork and a great story.
