I ordered the ankle high. These fit me well, not too tight and not too loose. To gauge, I am not a small person. They are of good quality for the price.They give moderate support. I wouldn't classify them as a brace. A brace doesn't allow much movement at all. These just give support and have kept my ankles from swelling.I wash these by hand and hang to dry; as I do all my support socks, braces and under things. With that care they are holding up well. I feel like they would withstand a washing machine however I'd be concerned about shrinkage in a dryer, just based on many years of laundering experience. :)If I have any complaint at all, it is that they are a tube, not shaped like a foot. There are markings to indicate where your heal goes, and you should wear them that way and then they eventually mold a bit to your foot. But the problem is that where your foot then bends (in the interior "L" corner) there is then a wrinkle of sock which can 1) create excess material which might affect the fit in your shoe and 2) can be irritating to sensitive feet.

It fits good. It also puts enough pressure where I need the support around my foot.

They feel and look good. I wear them every morning during my morning walk. Only wish they fit a bit more snuggly.

This is one of the few instances where getting a ribbon measuring tape or a string to wrap around your heel and ankle is absolutely necessary. My order was true to that size, so it seems like other reviewers maybe just presumed what size they needed and didn’t bother to measure. The fabric has some elasticity so it will stretch, but keeping to your size range will keep the compression true without slipping up or down your foot.I wear these with a sock over the top, purchased because compression on my toes has caused too many scratches and discomfort. These make the difference and provide the support I need.

Was to big, ordered wrong size, ok for a basic compress

Needed something for my feet. I've tried so many pairs of insoles for my shoes and nothing seemed to help. I saw these and read some reviews and decided to try them, didn't have anything to lose. To my surprise they helped me, support was noticeable right from the start. My feet and calves feel better after wearing them for a few days. Now they are my daily foot wear. You know when you hurt for awhile you'll try to find help on your own and these worked for me. I hope others can get relief like I did. Maybe not a cure all but a big help for me.
