I really packed it all in my carry onBag. So nice to have it all organized. The compression zipper really makes a big difference.

I have used packing cubes for quite a while as I find that packing clothing into smaller containers makes it easier to stay organized while on travel, and keeps clothing looking better after a long trip in a suitcase. The idea of the extra zipper on these cases to basically compress the cube and save space intrigued me which is why I got them.In practice, the second zipper to compress the cube once you have packed it is somewhat helpful in holding the contents a little tighter, but I don't think there is any way you can use this second zipper to achieve the claimed 60% space saving. It's not like they are being vacuum packed, it's simply making the cube smaller once you have your items packed in it. It certainly helps to reduce the size of the packed cube, but maybe 20%, definitely not 60%. It also helps to hold your packed items a little more securely.The cubes come in a variety of sizes - the first photo shows the 4 cubes plus the shoe carrier - the bananas are for size perspective. The second and third photos show the packed cube (it had 12 size XL t-shirts) before and after the second zip was closed. The last photo is just the view of the fully zipped cube from above.The material looks to be waterproof and very lightweight. I have not yet travelled with them, so can't comment on their durability, but they seem to be well made.If you are looking for packing tubes with one extra trick (the added zipper), then these will likely work for you. If you are hoping to find something that will save up to 60% of your space as claimed, then I think you will be disappointed.I gave them 4 stars because they are decent packing cubes, but could not give 5 stars since they don't live up to the 60% space saving claim.

Digging through a suitcase is no way to start your vacation. This five-piece packing cube set includes four different size cubes and one shoe bag. These sturdy cubes are waterproof with strong zippers for compression. The largest cube has room for six to eight dresses. Everything easily fits in a carry-on or duffel. You can pack for a week without digging for what you need!These are medium durability. They're made of lightweight materials, and the zipper is sewn in well.

I travel quite frequently and always pack my clothing in packing cubes. I decided to try these compression packs to see if it would fit more items efficiently. First of all, they don’t open completely so I had to sort of slide the clothes in. I put in less than my regular packing cubes hold and it was very difficult to compress the pack. On arrival at my destination, several items required ironing, something that never occurs in my regular packing cubes. So these compression packing cubes may be sturdy and look good but I do not think I’ll be using them much for traveling.

These are well-made packing cubes. Nicely sized though I wish there was an additional large size. I don't think the laundry bag is really big enough to be useful but can be used to store other stuff.I've enclosed photos showing how much I could fit in the biggest size cube and how it all packs down. I would say it packs down by 25%, no more. The only way you can really get more compression is via vacuum bags. No problem with the zippers though packing too much over time would probably cause problems with the seams so use common sense.I love using packing cubes when traveling and these are my first compression ones. Already they have helped me better organize my suitcase by keeping everything very tidy. Very helpful when trying to avoid checking a bag.P.S. be sure to leave a small opening in the first zipper when compressing so the air comes out.Highly recommend these bags, esp over comparable name brand ones which are more expensive.

I have used packing cubes for years now but I'd never tried the compression style. This set of 4 sizes of compression cubes and one shoe bag has a good variety of sizes, with neither too huge, nor too small sizes. This set easily fits every bit of clothing for a weekend if you tend to overpack, and a week if you are a lean packer. Put in the clothes, zip up and then zip the second zipper to compress what's in the bag and you have a much smaller stack. All of the bags fit in my carry-on after filling and I am amazed at how much they hold. While I haven't had them long enough to speak to their durability, they seem very well made. I quite happy with these bags and highly recommend them.
