The good, the bad, and the slightly annoying - long but honest review
So I'll start by saying that I bought this table for one day out of the entire year : Christmas. I live with my boyfriend and 21 year old little brother. We don't eat at the table regularly, but I do host my family for Christmas, and I always have to use a crappy plastic fold out table for dinner which I hate. Most 10 seater dining tables are over $800 and in this economy? No way. So I took to amazon, the land of affordable items.I'll start with the good. Its a beautiful table and it is MASSIVE. All the pieces were there, and it includes spare parts as well for people like me who put stuff down during building and then it's lost forever. There was no damage to the table in the delivery, and it's packaged really well. But the thing is HEAVY. It can absolutely fit 10 people (I wouldn't try for 12, the table size is technically big enough but the support leg in the middle can't fit another chair) I only needed it for 9 people. Also, the price. I mean come on. It's under $400 which is a STEAL for the quality. It's sturdy wood, it's not flimsy wood. It was pretty easy to put together. It did take my like 6 hours but I'm a 32 year old female who absolutely hates building furniture so I am not a good judge for timing. A more handy person could have probably done it in half that time. And I didn't need anything but a screw driver. The bad. As soon as the table was built and I flipped it over, added the center leaf things, and stretched it out, the middle support leg popped the mollies out and the wood split very slightly, and the whole leg fell off. Instead of panicking and crying, which is what I wanted to do, I immediately bought gorilla glue epoxy and waited for my boyfriend to come home, he got the mollies back in and we just glued around where the wood had split and glued that particular molly back in and it was mostly good as new, and I am being EXTRA careful with it now. (this is where I removed a star)The slightly annoying. The "storage" for the extra leaf things, are at the very ends of the table. So you cannot store a leaf while a chair is there. I don't know about you, but I put my chairs around the table when it's not being used. So if you try to store the leaf in its designated area, you can't get the chair under the table, which is annoying but not a deal breaker. I also do wish that there was another way to lock the leafs into place because it just has those little wood studs that you put in on both sides of the leaf, it doesn't move much but some added security would have been nice. I also wouldn't put too too much weight on the center of the table because it does buckle a tiny bit (not a problem for a dinner with food and elbows on the table) but if a small child climbed on top of the table when it's fully extended it would probably snap because it only has that one middle leg to support it. I don't have children so I don't have to worry about that but just for people who might or have dogs that get on tables or something.Final thoughts - it is absolutely worth buying if you don't have the money to spend on a ridiculously overpriced dining table. I would 100% purchase this again. So if you are on the fence, just go for it. It's worth it! If on Christmas day it breaks in half, I'll update the review but all in all I'm happy with the purchase and I give it a thumbs up.

Great table
I bought the oak table and the quality is great. The appearance is great. More importantly, the transformer/expanding of the table is great for all numbers. I am loving it. Only wish they provided more locks for each table leaf not to move often. Either way, still loving the table.

Sturdy
when putting together all was well. but when you slide the table out you will need at least 2 people to use the table someone to hold the middle, and someone else pull. it will break in the middle as the middle legs don't have enough support on their own. they either need another bar at the bottom or something to hold it together better than what they have. besides that so far it is nice. fits well did have a little trouble putting it all back in for storage as the middle legs are just a little too big so you have to push and force it closed. but besides that its sturdy and works for the most part.

Pros and cons, but amazing value!
I was nervous to buy this table because it had so few reviews, but I'm super glad I went ahead with the purchase! It's more than I could have hoped for considering the price. The pros:-We paid less than $400 for the table and shipping together.- Every con listed below is minor compared to the benefits of this type of table design.-The table is almost too big for our space when all leaves are inserted which I'm ecstatic about.-Easily fits 10 large adult Americans with plenty of elbow and leg room : )-Could fit more people, especially if bench-style seating was used on the long sides.- Incredible space-saving design really gives us flexibility which we need for our tiny space.-Hardware that extends the table is sturdy.-Our 25lb toddler climbed on the table leaves several times over the course of a month of daily use and there was no serious damage. The leaves started to bow very slightly.-Doubles as a small desk when condensed if some of the leaves are stored separately. The cons:-Not for every day use.-The table legs slide apart when the legs are bumped. We added castors to the table legs and we can lock those in place. The table still opens slightly. The castors really help the middle leg slide easily and that should prevent damage to the table and hardware that other reviews mention.-Obviously the table isn't made of solid wood and the laminate can chip when kicked or banged with a chair.- Hardware that extends the table catches slightly when condensing the table, but it's easy to push down into place.-Table height is a little higher than standard US tabletops and our standard seat heights felt a little low. When we added castors this added another 1.5" or so.

Completely Disappointed
First off I purchased paid all was good got an email item I purchased was not in stock they could either refund me or substitute for a different color I wasn’t very happy with that as the color I ordered was a match to my kitchen chairs and decor then I get the substituted item put it together and a leg broke before we could even finish putting it together great concept but poorly executed pressboard isn’t the type of go to for this type of a table so I guess we just wasted $500 don’t waste your time or money on this product
