Functional!
A really good book for a beginner. Nicely sectioned with eg information on how to cook a chicken and a joint and lots of sensible recipes which are, unlike some other books, not over the top. Well illustrated and lots of basic tips. First air fryer and book - a good combination!

Excellent recipe book for your air fryer
Bought this to accompany my new air fryer. It has lots of usefull tips and temps / times for lots of common foods. Unlike some books this has lots of 'down to earth' recipes which are actually usefull and not lots of poncy recipes which you find in other books.Recommended

american and taco based dishes pro dominate
So, I have listed most of the recipes in the book. From Mr bakers cherry pie down wards no one in my family would eat any of those recipes. The bread and the cakes are so listed as the amount you get for all the hard work makes them a waste of time. The recipes my family will eat still required a lot of re working since the authors prefer their food covered garlic which is a very nasty slow acting allergens That takes at least two hours to take effect, they also prefer their food to be semi cooked. There is a large amount of american slanted recipe as well, :Too good to be frozen chipsFriday night battered fish and chips#Soft boiled eggsHard boiled eggsScrambled eggsFried eggsRoast chicken and stuffingEveryday chicken breastsSuper-crispy chicken schnitzelSteak and chipsSaturday night fruity pork steakSimple minted lamb steakThe ultimate meat pie let down by garlic and no gravySecret Ingredient t meatballsQuick and easy air fired salmon filletsGrandad Georges homemade herby fish cakesRainbow salmon bowlsSticky vegetable noodle stir-fry with noodlesCheese toastiesCrispy root vegetable chips#Everyday potato sliceSour cream and onion cheesy potatoes ski sEasy Cajun potato wedgesA bowl of kale chips should be crispsWeek night glazed carrots#Sofia and Jorge’s corn on the cobLazy green beansThe best frozen sprouts and baconQuick buttered peasDuck fat roast potatoes#Homemade Yorkshire puddingsThe ultimate roast chicken dinner I the air fryerCreamy chicken and mushroom pieWarm apple pieMr bakers cherry pieMake ahead pumpkin pie AmericanCoffee shop chocolate chip muffins AmericanMini carrot cakesSelf-saucing chocolate orange pudding10-minute blueberry crumble potsKittys c=rock cakesUncomplicate fudge one pan browniesEggless chocolate chip cookies AmericanThe ultimate chocolate cakesRocky road chocolate cakeDooms’ Victoria spouge cakeThin crust Hawaiian pizzaCheesy scones for everythingEasy cheesy savoury muffinsEasy peasey shortcrust pastryVeronica’s cheese and ham quicheEasy pease cheesy asparagusPull apart bread rollsAir fryer pot roast AmericanHomemade stuffing balls AmericanThe best homemade corn breadMake-ahead pigs blanketsThe creamiest green bean casserole AmericanGarlic butter mushrooms with rosemaryNo peel roast garlicCourgette pizza slicesCrispy frozen cauliflowerQuick Mediterranean vegetablesSeriously satisfy g potato gratinToo tied too cook baby potatoesSergio’s garlic potatoes with baconQuick aioliSour cream and bacon Sweet potatoes chipsToastQuick prep whole tilapiasuper easy tuna nicoiseTaco Tuesday prawn tacoSimple scallops wrapped in baconLemon and garlic frozen scallopsSeriously satisfying vegan cobb saladPerfect halloumi fajitasThe best vegetarian lasagneSuperhero hidden veggie burgersVeggie loaded taquitosAccidental mushroom stroganoffDate night vegan burrito bowls3 ingredient Cajun tortilla chipsCrispy curried chickpeasDom’s weeknight meatzza10-minute garlic and rosemary lamb chops Fast BologneseTaco meatQuick sloppy joesEasy pork chop dinner for one10-minute air fryer hot dogDom’s easy cheeseburgersUncle bobs meatloafCrumpets liked the toaster version better grill did it better tooUltimate balsamic chicken bowlCheesy chicken wrapped in Parma hamHoney garlic chicken thighs and potatoesSticky barbecue chicken wingsTandoori chickenSouthern fired chickenHomemade chicken nuggetsCream cheese bagelsFull English break fast eggs, mushrooms, black pudding, bacon, sausages, baked beansWhat the hell is a patty it sounds like someone taking a dump.CroissantsPain au chocolate bread with chocolate flavoured squirty cheese fillingBerrylicous baked oatsRainbow brunch bowlVeggie loaded egg cupsKitchen sink FrittataStuffed pepper omeletteHalaonio firesParty sausage rollsMin pizzaPopcorn chickensVeggie burgersPotatoes wafflesFrozen cookies Game night frozen wingsCrispy mozzarella sticksDoner meat

A comprehensive and clear guide
This is one of the best air fryer books I have yet come across. It is clear and comprehensive, with a variety of recipes covering most things and which can easily be adapted to other ingredients to suite your taste. It is a little 'chatty' in text but nothing wrong with that really, nor mentioning to whom the recipes have belonged. Some people are too picky in their comments. The index at the back is comprehensive. I can't understand comments saying it's complicated and not clear, for example 'uncle Bob's easy meat loaf' is listed under 'U' but also under 'M' for meatloaf so I can't really see any reason to complain.Comments regarding fish:- only one salmon recipe? I counted five? So don't understand the comments on that score.I made bread rolls successfully for the first time in my air fryer. It's not a gourmet cookbook obviously but covers almost all types of everyday food with good instructions and as I said before, recipes can be easily adapted.I would definitely recommend it.

Disappointing
I have recently been converted to using an air fryer, and I'm always looking for an excuse to buy a cookery book, so, having read the reviews, I plumped for this. I suppose I should have been alerted to the content by the cover, as it's not what I call a grownup cookbook. It's very much geared towards kids' meals and, basically, recreating fast food at home. The recipes are very simplistic, and there's an awful lot of 'filler'. Even the names of the recipes jarred with me; I don't care whose uncle or which grandad gave you the recipe, and I find that sort of thing very self indulgent and egotistical. What shocked me most, I think, was the paucity of fish recipes. One salmon dish? Really? Another extremely irritating aspect is the index. You have to know what the dish is called (probably the name of a relative) but it doesn't list main ingredients. It's not what I call a cook's cookbook. All in all, I can't see this getting much use in this house, if any.

That it was a cookbook for an air fryer
Very well illustrated great colour pictures only downside did not like a lot of the recipes but that’s down to individual choice but good book and good reasonably good value for money. Many thanks, Katie

We cooked the chicken recipe the day it arrived. It was very moist. Lots of recipes that we want to try.

Something for Everyone!
I think that there is something for everyone whether American, Canadian, or from the UK. Samantha and her husband has done a wonderful job of explaining every recipe and also any conversions it may need between countries. Whether you use grams or ounces, you will find the info you need for the recipe. So far as a cook from the US, I have found only one ingredient that I may not be able to find and that is Halloumi cheese. It may be available in our deli sections though and I will have to look. But the ingredients look to be widely available.I love all the info they have included in this book. What to look for buying an air fryer, what equipment that they use and love, how to clean the air fryer after using it, cooking times and tips for the best results. They list a lot of the ingredients they use as well. And, they talk about what fats and oils to use in the air fryer and how to use them. I learned so many things I didn't know about before with some of this info.Between the wonderful colored pictures of the recipes, the recipes themselves, and all the great info they give I think a great air fryer meal is only a few steps away.So glad I ordered my copy and look forward to using it a lot! I love air frying and love having this book. Now deciding what to do next in my air fryer will be easier.

Very easy to follow instructions.I am new to air fryers and a lot of recipes say cook for ........ so was getting stuck which setting to use (bake, fry, etc). once I get used to it I will be ok and just use the book for recipes.
