Lovely unusual shade of green
I love this shade of ink, it's a mix of green and grey and depending on other ink colours around it depends on whether it's more green or more grey.I have it in a pen with a 1.1mm stub nib and it has minimal bleed through on cheaper paper, so I'm sure that a medium or fine nib would be even better for bleeding.I'd definitely buy it again.

Lovely light grey ink
This is one of my all time favourite shades of grey ink. It's dark enough to see but also light enough to be pale grey. I use it in colouring books and it's great for clouds.I'd definitely buy it again.

No more blocked nib
I bought this after looking into the issue with my fine nibbed Parker Vector pen. Whilst I use it pretty much daily for work, I kept finding the nib pretty much dried up and writing with it scratchy and ink flow patchy. I had been using the parker quink ink cartridges and found others saying that this has a high viscosity and so prone to blocking - especially on finer nibs. This ink though is considered better so I ordered a converter and a bottle and I'm very impressed. I can now even leave my pen over a weekend and it will still be ready to go when I need it.

Hard-to-find colour but expensive and poor value; bottle unsuited to purpose
A neutral grey ink and a hard-to-find shade probably best used on a bright white paper. As a lighter tone, it is ideal for the broader nib, possibly with Medium being the minimum you would want to use.The brand of inks tends to need a long-ish drying time, at least 30-45 seconds as it it will otherwise easily smudge, although that may depend upon weather or room temperature. The ink can shade within a stroke and become darker towards the bottom although quite transparent within some areas. With different papers, it can feather fairly extensively on some but not at all on others. However the ink is quite expensive for the quantity provided especially in comparison to other brands. It needs be noted that the ink uses natural dyes rather than synthetics and have been considered by several specialist reviewers as 'too thin' or transparent although easy flowing. From a practical viewpoint, the bottles are small and with a narrow neck that is not amenable to certain styles of fountain pen, one example filling to a wholly unacceptable 25% of capacity. Also the bottles appear to be designed with dip or artists' pens in mind as a pen rest best suited to their size is moulded into the top of each bottle, too small for other than a few fountain pens. Even if a fountain pen is narrow enough to be dipped into the bottle, it will probably fail to fill after a small number of uses as the bottle is ill-designed for the purpose (too squat). The ink is easily washable which may be a bonus should you get some on fingers or clothing but it is equally transient on paper and susceptible to moisture or steam. It has also been noted on several specialist fountain pen sites that Herbin inks have a tendency to clog many brands of pen from the minimally expensive upwards and including several Mont Blanc models (a brand not normally known to clog, ever), in which event the pen will need to be re-filled several times in lukewarm water to dissolve its residues. In view of the practical limitations in its use, this ink cannot be recommended and those purchased are to be returned..

Top quality ink
I use inks from different brands in my pens for my work. I stumbled upon Perle Noire. I must say that this is a fabulous deep black ink which is right up there with the best brands. it runs amazingly smooth, dries up fairly quickly and has a nice shade to it. Although Ive a good handwriting after years of using fountain pens, this ink makes it even better. I received compliments from my colleagues for this ink. This ink is worthy enough to be in your collection of inks

Such a beautiful ink!
Whether in bottles of cartridges, Herbin inks write as smooth as silk and its ink colour is always consistent. I have an OHTO Tasche pocket fountain pen that only takes cartridges, so these Herbin ink cartridges are perfect for my need. The 6 cartridges came in a nice little aluminium lidded container, alas not screwed, but otherwise good. I've always trusted Herbin and Waterman inks, too. Very good value, great fountain pen ink.

Great quality ink. So lovely to have these smaller bottles to try out before buying the larger sizes for the colours that are favourites..

Gorgeous.
Wonderful pink ink. These small bottles are very useful to take out and about. So easy to refill my pen in the upright shape.
