Good and easy to apply

This is a little expensive but gives a beautiful finish to wood. I used it on iroko wood on my garden bench.I applied with a cloth. A little goes a long way - rub in well and apply a few thin coats rather than one thick coat. Be sure to wipe away any excess. It smells a bit so use in a well ventilated space.

It gives wood beautiful, natural look and colour that you’d never get using varnishes. Protects the wood very well. I’ve been applying it once a year on garage door. And it’s natural. Great find!

I bought this product to preserve the wood of my garden boarders and prevent premature aging due to UV exposure. I had bought and installed (after extensive preparation) lengths of reclaimed creosote treated Oak railway sleepers. despite treating the wood with wood preservers I noticed after a few months that the colour would fade and the wood grain would vanish. Whilst the silvered Oak appearance wasn't unappealing, I wanted to bring back and maintain the luster of the wood when freshly installed and treated. In the photos you'll notice the sleepers as they were before preparation, during preparation, two directly after treatment and the last photo almost six months after treatment and sitting outside through the summer of 2023. These sleepers had the treatment applied in accordance with the instructions on the can and sparingly. The expected coverage was accurate for me and I applied 2 thin coats to the treated wood. This is expensive on a per liter basis but it does appear to live up to its claims. I guess many people might ask "If it is so good would you but it again knowing the cost?". The simple answer to that is, I already have bought more for the next time I need some, although it is hard to say when that might be as so far the coating is keeping the wood looking good....rhyme intended.

This oil is expensive but it's definitely a quality product and worth the money. It provides superb protection, brings out the natural grain and look of the wood and it lasts a long time. I will buy again.

Easy to apply and looks great when dried. Used to protect a 5 bar gate, I wanted to retain the wood grain and it certainly does that. When applied it darkens the wood very very slightly but this enhances the grain so all good.It's been applied for 6 weeks so far and has seen plenty of wet weather and it looks as though it should last well....time will tell.

Ich habe das Produkt schon mehrfach gekauft. Es ist leider sehr teuer - finde ich. Es ist dennoch gut und schützt prima meine Eichenmöbel, die ganzjährig draußen stehen.Auch gegen die Sonne, welcher die Möbel ausgeliefert sind.Ich findes es gut!

Das Produkt überzeugt beim auftragen und macht das behandelte Holz zu einem echten Schmuckstück.Ein leichter Glanz auf der Oberfläche, gut aufzutragen, sparsam im Verbrauch. Werde ich bei Bedarf wieder kaufen.

毎年家の木壁の変色防止用途でかっていますが、最近仕様がかわったのでしょうか？　粘度が上がったようで塗っているときの垂れがなくなった分、伸びがわるくなり塗装の面積が減りました。毎年750mlで丁度塗り切れる感じでしたが、今年は足りませんでした。感覚として2/3程度しか塗れませんでした。

Vor 3 Jahren habe ich meinen Gartenzaun renoviert und mit dem OSMO-Öl behandelt. Die stark verwitterten Latten wurden sandgestrahlt und 2 mal gestrichen. Da durch das Sandstrahlen die Oberfläche sehr rauh wurde, saugte das Holz sehr stark und ich benötigte relativ viel Öl. Was mir auf den ersten Blick etwas teuer erschien hat sich aber absolut gelohnt. Das Öl bringt den warmen, rötlichen Farbton des Lärchenholzes wunderbar zur Geltung und schützt das Holz ganz hervorragend vor Witterungseinflüssen und vergrauen. Der Zaun ist noch genauso schön wie vor 3 Jahren und ich bin immer wieder begeistert. Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Das OSMO UV-Schutz-Öl ist absolute SPITZE!!!
