The pottery wheel is well crafted with high quality parts. It's easy to assemble and it comes with clay! I can see myself inviting friends over to craft with me. It also feels kid friendly and safe so I'm going to create activities for my friends kids to use it when they visit.

I haven't had the time to try it yet. It didn't come with clay, which makes no sense since it's supposed to be a bigger wheel that 'has everything you need to start.' Except the clay. They, also, don't give you any hints as to what a good starter clay would be (or brands or links to one). Nothing other than 'air dry.' And I haven't had the time to do that research because that is pretty vague. And do I want to mess with finding someplace to fire or is where clay that is air dry that I can re-use? So many questions.I have a ceramics background from my college days (I have a BFA), I just never learned to throw on a wheel and have always wanted to. I thought this would be a fun way to start to learn to get a feel for centering and throwing before taking classes that involve and almost hour drive each way. So I'm excited to try this out, by the time it got here and I discovered no clay, I've been very busy.It's small and I'm okay with that, it's for me to start learning and get the feel for the process. It's just a kit "with everything you need to get started" as it says.

Bought it because I’ve been doing pottery for a year and decided I wanted my own wheel. Wanted to start out with something small and work my way up and bought this. Had to have an extremely light touch even with slip and sometimes the wheel still stopped turning, I didn’t even care that it would fling water everywhere, it was just so frustrating that it stopped every time i tried to shape the clay.
