Great reel for novice and amateur anglers
Great reel for the price. Mid range entry reel, might be worth going up a price point if you are looking for heavy use, but for me it works great.

GREAT PRODUCT
This is one of my favorite reels, have it on a 7 ft berkley and it functions great paired with mono it launchs small lures very far. Has a slick look and glides like butter with zero noise, highly recommend.

Okuma makes great reels.
This is my favorite spinning reel I have 4. Big fan of Okuma. The 3000 is more like 2500 but that is my preferred reel size for all around bass fishing. Only used in freshwater. Took it to Canada a fished walleye as well. Performs like a much higher priced reel.

WHAT A SMOOTH OPERATOR
Picked up 2 of these for my buddy new to fishing. I still use reels from the 90s....lol I got him all set up then tried them myself. WAS REALLY IMPRESSED! Smooth reeling, long casting. WOW! Now, they are not built like reels in the 90s.....but nothing ever is anymore. These may not last 30 years, but for the price, I think they are exceptional! Have them paired on 6' 6" med action Ugly Sticks. And you can REALLY wing it out there. OOF!

Best reel for the price
Super smooth reel ! Paired it with Powerpro ssv2 15lb 150yd and having no issues so far ! I bought a Shimano Nasci before getting this one and I returned the Nasci cause it wasn't as smooth.Only reason I give it 4 star is because of the very minor slack/play in the handle (I have a couple okuma reels now on different rods and they're all the same)
