Lovely kettle and very good pouring spout on it
Had a bit of a metallic tang at first but disappeared after a few boils of water. It is a very nice kettle with a good pouring spout. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and if you want to, polish up with a dry cloth. Looks good as well. Not too noisy, any more than any other kettle. I like it.

Expensive looking kettle
Looks like a designer kettle costing much more. Does the job of boiling water very well and very quickly due to its power of 3kw, but is on the noisy side too, though because it boils so quickly it’s not an issue.Just two niggles - the cord underneath the base is not held in position so it pops out of the slot when moving, making the base unstable, and the lid is not a pop-up one so you need three hands when filling - one to hold the kettle, one to take the lid off and one to turn the tap on and off. Yo do get used to it though…All in all, for the price, very impressed!

There's a lot to like about it.
I bought this kettle at a discounted price of £13.60. I had 2 kettles broken in 2 two years which costs about £20. So, this time I was going to spend a bit of time and money into getting a new but came across this rather affordable one and decided to try it out. I'm glad I did, instead of spending £40-50 for branded one. I'm pleasantly impressed with this kettle and there's a lot to like about it. 1) It has a 2 years warranty. I'll be keeping the box this time and if it breaks within 2 years, I'll be requesting a refund. 2) It actually looks a lot sleeker than the two glass kettles I had. 3)The one-press open button lid is the best I have come across in term of kettles, it opens smoothly and wide, shut nicely with one touch. 3) Unlike the other two glass kettles I've got, this kettle truly boils fast at 1m43s when full and shuts pretty fast without steaming up too much. Apparently, the wattage has nothing to do with the boiling speed! However, I do realised water boils at different temperate and I suspect this one is on a lower temperature because it didn't scorch my hand when I accidentally spilled the boiling water over. Extra point for this? 4) The kettle is very light, making it very user-friendly. 5) The switch button is on the top making it safer as opposed to the bottom ones which can catch water spillage. 6) The LED lumination is great looking and practical as I don't often switch on all the lights in my flat. 7) The induction base matches the kettle, making it looks expensive. The downside... I would prefer under the interior of the lid, the filter and the viewing gauge, are all metals or glass. However, I hope the kettle is truly and fully made with high-grade material, 100%BPA free. There are no stars for durability as time can only tell, I only had it for a few weeks.

Aigostar Electric Kettle
Brought this kettle and matching toaster, really nice looking equipment. The kettle however only lasted a few weeks, it developed a rattle in the base of the kettle, sounds like something has broken off and moving around. Keeps switching itself off before fully boiling. Possibly wouldn't buy this again.

Great all round kettle
I love this kettle, it’s very attractive not big and bulky it has a very good handle, the spout is nice it’s like a teapot, it also doesn’t spit everywhere when your pouring it, it boils quickly and it’s not like a 747 taking off, I’m gonna buy another one I like it that much.

NOT quiet - more like a Hercules plane
Love the easy open, wide lid. Overall looks good. Boils quickly, but seems to take ages to switch off once it is boiling. Definitely not quiet- the first time I used it my husband asked where the Hercules aeroplane was.......We live in a very hard water area, and even using a water filter, the limescale builds up within 2 days, so I do get through a couple of kettles a year.
