Does a cracking job....Consistent and fairly straight breaks at the top of the egg every time. It seems sturdily made and is easy to clean as it's stainless steel. Great value for money.

This is an inexpensive but effective tool for neatly taking the top off a boiled egg, once the technique is mastered. Mine only lasted 15 months before the shaft broke away from the body (see image). At a fiver a go though, worth the modest investment. Just don’t get too attached to it (no pun intended)
