I used to use RU-21. They were much pricier and certainly didn't work as well as Hangover Hero. It really, really works. I've recommended to all my friends and family. A good time of year to stock up!

But I do still have the occasional evening of multiple drinks (typically either mixed drinks or wine) and sometimes end up feeling a little less energetic and clear-headed the next morning. The key with this product is to consume it PRIOR to drinking, and then also before going to bed for the evening. This will help your body buffer and prepare for the alcohol, which in turn helps it recover more quickly, largely from dehydration and other nutrients being depleted. Can you take it the next morning for some benefit? Sure, but it will not be as effective.The ingredients in Hangover Hero are widely reported to help with fending off hangover effects, and my experience supports this. It's not a miracle cure for hangovers, but it help you to recover a bit faster than without it.I noticed one review here refer to "a quick chug" and "downing" Hangover Hero, and the poor taste. I'm guessing this reviewer never even tried the product, since this comes in standard size gelcaps, not some soft of liquid or powder that you mix into a drink. There is no taste, and nothing to "chug". (They are easy to swallow, as any gelcap should be).As for price/value, it's a bottle of 60 capsules for $30, or 50 cents per capsule. If you take the suggested four capsules per binge drinking evening, you're looking at $2. Compared to the cost of all those drinks you consumed, it's a good value for the savings in headaches that you might otherwise get. :)Overall, I do recommend this, just try to remember to take it as early as you can to get the best benefits. The morning after is a bit later than ideal, but still better than not taking it at all.

I went on a cruise and wanted to have a food time. I took these and my hangover was a 2 compared to a 10. Would and do definitely recommend!!!

If there were hangover pills that worked incredibly well, they'd be in every store throughout the country. Did these make my hangover better? Maybe. Could I have had a worse hangover? Always. Is it worth the money? Probably not.
