Just imagine the disco ball hanging from my ceiling fan!Putting it together was surprisingly easy. I thought I’d require a PhD in IKEA assembly, but all I needed was a little patience and a small army of screwdrivers. The only thing I lost during assembly was my dignity when I realized I was talking to the desk like it was a pet! The instructions were clearer than my coffee-fueled thoughts at 2 AM. I was able to assemble it faster than I can decide what to binge-watch on Netflix.Once assembled, this desk is sturdier than my willpower when there’s cake in the breakroom. I'm talking rock-solid stability! I can slam my keyboard like I’m in a high-stakes gaming tournament, and it doesn’t even flinch. And let’s talk about the legroom—my legs can finally stretch out like they’ve just come back from a vacation. My husband helped me set up this desk yesterday and I absolutely LOVE it! Due to a shoulder injury, I needed to purchase a desk that could be brought up to a second floor a few pieces at a time and put together there instead of already all put together. I also needed to free up more space in my office/spare bedroom and needed a more ergonomic desk. This desk has accomplished all of this and more! It is sturdy, it is classy and fits in many styles of rooms (even a 100 year old house like mine), it is narrower than the huge table I had in there before, it fits great in a corner. It was easier than it looks to put together but there were a few steps that were slightly confusing (the part that involves attaching the round connector piece). We put it together upright and had almost no issues, with the exception of lining up a few holes that we eventually accomplished with some team work (one person squeezed the table top to the frame while the other did the screw in). This desk is already alleviating some shoulder issues because it is made for computer work and the dimensions are correct for that. I am 5'5.5" with long legs and I have no issues with room for my legs under the keyboard tray with my adjustable office chair. I chose to have the keyboard on the right side instead of left due to wiring/accessiblity of outlets and cable etc. My very heavy and large laser printer sits nicely on the left part of my desk with plenty of room and the desk holds it well. This desk also arrived two days before it was scheduled to which was a nice surprise! The quality of this desk is excellent considering the very cheap cost! I looked at several desk models at a local office store and they were 2x the price of this one with less surface area and more unnecessary gadgets. I love the simplicity of this desk. It has a great surface for writing too! The one detail that I overlooked before purchasing this is the length. I did not factor in the extra length of the connector piece which is about 19.8", only the two 40" desks per side. So I was a little short on space (having expected to only need 40" of space, not 59.8" per side), but it actually worked out better because it forced me to move that awful file cabinet I had so close to my desk before to a better location in the room, freeing up a lot of space. I can't believe how well everything turned out! I would highly recommend this desk to others! It is phenomenally cheap for the quality which is very very rare nowadays!

Quality is pretty good. There were two screw holes that weren’t aligned but it does the job. It was easy putting it together and overall it’s perfect for an office desk at home.

It isn't the most stylish desk you could buy, obviously, but unless you are willing to pay a lot more for something more elaborate, you really can't go wrong with this simple L-shaped desk. It was relatively easy to follow the instructions, but will take you a little time. All hardware and a hex wrench were provided, though I chose to use a cordless drill with the correct size tip. Made it a lot easier on the hands. Once assembled, it is stable and sturdy. There is plenty of workspace and a keyboard tray which can be installed on either section. So, it is what it is -- a moderately attractive, $69 desk that does what a desk is supposed to do.
