**Q: Is glass shatterproof?**
A: I have a different looking one, but I like your version better. Mine is a plastic face cover. The rim and back are plastic, too. My clock would crack and probably break if hit hard enough or dropped high enough. TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION:  I doubt the glass is shatterproof, because that is an amazing feature, which would be listed. Does the description specifically say that it is glass? The Dream Sky clocks I have are entirely plastic. (as for the silent part = it lasts 6 months, and now I hear the ticking of the mechanism)  However, the Customer Service of this company is great, so I'd contact them directly about the shatterproof glass.

**Q: How to put together the tack on back?**
A: I used a command hook and stuck it to the wall. It is the kind with the metal hook. It didn't stick really well so I got some of that thick clear reusable 2 sided tape and it works great.

we are happy with the clock, easy to read for my 5yo, colorful clock, no ticking, smooth silent movement of hands. plastic is a little flimsy for the frame but not noticeable once it hangs. would buy it again
