Decent product. Misleading when they say "2 month supply".
From what I can tell Codeage makes good products, based on online reviews. I don't really know how one would measure if this product is working. I've seen some complaints about the calcium not making a difference to some who have taken it. I'd like to say they should do some research. This is "Calcium AKG". The AKG is why you should be buying this product, not the calcium. There are other supplements for simple calcium. AKG is for building and repairing muscles, and potentially life-extension(anti-aging).The product page here says that it's a 2 month supply, but they conveniently leave off the bottle directions that say to take 2 a day (picture attached). That's definitely intentionally deceptive. On the other hand, it's liposomal which means the absorption is potentially higher than non-liposomal Calcium AKG.A daily dose for non-liposomal is about 1000mg a day(usually 2-500mg caps or pills, etc.).A single dose of the Codeage liposomal is 750mg. If the things I've read are true, then 1-750mg caplet would actually provide more bioavailable Calcium AKG than 1000mg of the non-liposomal. I don't know how much, but it would be on an order of several magnitudes more. There's plenty of information out there on why liposomal supplements are better. If you're putting anything in your body, you should really endeavor to understand what it is and how it works. In the end, I'll keep using the product. Maybe they misprinted on the labels and don't want to reprint them all? I think they're a good company but this is a marketing mess up that they could easily correct.

Great quality calcium choice
I am a woman and take calcium to protect my bones as well as for its other numerous health benefits. I've been taking vitamins in liposomal form ever since I discovered them but I've never tried liposomal calcium and was very curious when I came across this product. What makes liposomal supplements so special is that the supplement/vitamin taken is transported via liposomes (aka small fat bubbles) directly into the cell. This means that it is better absorbed going straight to the source - and is not broken down by the stomach. There are 60 capsules included in the bottle, with a serving size of 1 per day. I always appreciate when the serving size is 1/day because it makes life less complicated. The bottle looks minimalist and futuristic. I like that it is made in the US, in a GMP-certified facility - and feel safe taking it.It's not always easy or possible to gauge the effectiveness of the supplements we take. However, I feel good and energetic taking it and have had no side effects. My boyfriend also takes it when his legs feel restless or agitated and he likes it a lot.Overall, a great calcium choice!

Stabilized Liposomal Calcium AKG, 1 cap per day 700 mg
This 60 capsule recyclable bottle of Liposomal Calcium AKG arrived with cellophane exterior wrap, plus under cap consumer safety seal. The label provides product information, suggested use, ingredient list, lot number, expiration date and company details. Codeage is based in Los Angels and this product is manufactured in the USA.Alpha-ketoglutarate is a naturally occurring substance in the body, but levels decrease as we age.The suggested use is one cap per day, which provides 700 mg of stabilized Liposomal Calcium AKG, apx. 54% of estimated daily requirement.. Sixty capsules equals a 60 day/two month supply. I have only just started taking the supplement, but to date I have not encountered any issues or adverse reactions.Liposomal supplement delivery is optimal, and I look for this in supplements I take. Also, research indicates that Calcium Alpha-ketoglutarate is perhaps more slowly absorbed than regular Alpha-ketoglutarate, so it stays in the body longer. There are many potential benefits of AKG, some of which are mentioned by other reviewers and some on the Amazon product page. The information is readily available online. As an older individual I take calcium to maintains bones, etc. Since this product offers similar benefits, plus additional anti-aging and longevity related advantages, I am happy to have an opportunity to try the product. I have previously purchased other Codeage products and have been very satisfied.

Misleading labeling, calcium amount is not accurate.
I am giving this product one star based solely on the labeling versus the description. Description of product states one capsule daily, while the bottle says two capsules daily. This is a 30 day supply, not an 60 day supply. Also, there is an implication on the bottle that 700 mg of ca-AKG is 700 mg. of calcium. This is not the case. Calcium is only 20 percent of ca-AKG, so if you think you are getting 700 mg. of calcium from each of these capsules you are being misled. You will get 140 mg. If you are using this product as your sole source of calcium you will not be getting enough. Do your research online. Check out the nutritional info on the Toniq brand. There may be benefits to this product although there isn’t a lot of science behind it yet. But I do not trust this company as they are not accurate with their labeling.
