Toy Vault’s Black Knight Plush Mini from Monty Python’s Quest for the Holy Grail

What's not to love about the Black Knight from Monty Python's cult classic? Almost a foot tall and has detaching arms and legs that have "Blood" attached to mimic the merely a flesh wound appearance. Just remember to count to three, not 2 and not 5.

Absolutely worth the money and a great conversation starter depending on where you put it. You may want to NOT cut the plastic connectors that secure the arms and legs to the knight's torso when you first get it, as the arms and legs can go missing easily due to their small size and the mild difficulty of getting full velcro secure-ness when putting the limbs back on the body. Love it overall, no regrets.

I bought this for my 17 year old. He is a huge Monty Python fan. When the item arrived it was in a clear bag which proved to be very poor packaging to wrap for Christmas. I ended up just putting it in a gift bag to make it simpler. The figure itself is not large by any means, but it's not too tiny either. Roughly this figure is a little taller then the length of my hand, it is very scrawny and the velcro that holds the limbs together are pretty small pieces. I still am giving this a 4 out of 5 stars rating because it is a wonderful idea and my 17 year old did really love this gift. I just wish it was a little fuller/larger so that it would be more sturdy. I also wish the packaging on it was in a box since the limbs are hard to wrap otherwise all connected.

I WAS EXCITED WHEN I ASKED AMAZON TO SEARCH FOR THE “BLACK KNIGHT” I AM A HUGE MONTY PYTHON FAN, and ACTUALLY SAW THE “HOLY GRAIL” IN THE THEATER WHEN IT DEBUTED! I saw one on eBay for $39! As for durability, I AGAIN WAS IMPRESSED BY THE FACT THAT EACH LIMB IS SECURED BY A NYLON CONNECTOR, ( so you cannot lose them! ) GREAT FUN AT PARTIES! Pocket size too surprise friends!

If you are a Monty Python fan, what's there not to like about this toy? I struggled with the ratings on this....fun? I don't sit down and play with it but it makes me smile every time I see it. Educational? I think everyone should have some education in humor, and while it doesn't appeal to all, Monty Python and the Holy Grail was on the list of "must see's" for my children. Durable--that one was easy, yes, it falls apart as promised. Overall rating? Not enough stars to capture that!I don't think this is a toy for very young kids, but if they are old enough to laugh at the movie, they are old enough to have this toy. Makes a great stocking stuffer.

Only resembles the movie knight with some imagination. It appears to have been sewn by an 8-year old with a dull needle. Don't buy.

It's the perfect size for the Monty Python fan in your life! You can successfully dismember your very own black knight on your journey to assemble your Round Table squad...Much luck on finding the Grail!

Great fun, limbs are attached with Velcro and secured with plastic tags which you can cut for full dismemberment. The quality is not fancy but is fun.
