VibramMen's FiveFingers El-X Knit Shoe

Buy them have worn them two years on trails and beyond literally walked up rocky cliff sides in these, so much traction and comfort. A must try do yourself a favor. I've been more motivated to even workout as in lift with these. Makes you want to be outside. I walk in mud and rain in these as well because I like the feel. I can't rave enough Black man from Texas won't tell you anything wrong here. Even wore them in the snow in Montana. kuz they dry quick and don't slip in the snow when going out for small task to the car or walking the dog.

This is the closest thing to walking bare foot.

Sizing: I’ve tried these in the exact measurement size of my foot as well as the size above. I ran into the issue that the smaller size was too small and the bigger being a touch too big. This would be remedied in a model with laces where you could secure the fit of the larger size like a Kso or Kso evoCompared to the OG ELX- the knit version is far superior in comfort and quality of materials used. It is soft, there is more inside cushioning on the bottom of your foot, and the materials used in the insole are far grippier and don’t allow your foot to slide around and blister.Sole- I personally prefer the classic sole, but found this to be very grippy underfoot. My only complaint was that when bending my toes, the rubber felt like it dug into the bottom of my toes a bit. Not sure if this would be remedied by breaking the shoe in.Overall, if you’re able to get the perfect fit, these are a fantastic option

KSO Classic 47 ~= 12-12.5 on this users feet.I'm a long time KSO Classic user. I wear five finger shoes every day for 10+ years.This is an excellent update for Vibram.The soles are soft and flexible, yet thicker than KSO. The upper fabric shrinks to my foot or at least felt like itBy far the best five finger product ever for daily use.I'm going to buy another pair as spares.

Not sure who though this thick fabric rubbing on your foot was a good plan..? Was genuinely obsessed with the old EL-X and these are just ok. Hard to wear them without socks.

They just don’t have it anymore. They used to be the most comfortable shoe in the world, but they just cut corners. It ever so slightly doesn’t fit at all. Even close. It’s like they don’t even try to make it comfortable anymore. They just don’t care. The shoes feel cheap. Stitching is poor. 10 years ago they were the it company for barefoot shoes. Like rolls Royce. Now they are the k mart….

Bought these for around the house and quick trips to the store. Very easy on and off. True to size. I have wide feet and still fit good. Not warm even with socks that do help. This is my 5th pair of VFF. Very fast shipping.

1. This product gives off a strong odor. I suspect it is off-gassing from the materials being used. However, this is not unique. I have a pair of Zero Aqua X-Sport barefoot shoes that have a similar odor.2. Foot shape matters A LOT with these shoes. The angle of my toes from big toe to little toe is 38 degrees. My fourth toe and little toe won't fit into the split toe boxes.Overall, these could be good shoes if they fit your foot shape. I personally found that Zero's barefoot shoes without split toe boxes fit me MUCH better.
