Overall, the strap seems better than the original strap that came with the oculus. However, it was kind of confusing to put on and lacks adequate directions. It is pretty comfortable and easy to take off and on your head once installed correctly.

The original head strap that came with my Quest 2 is not very comfortable. I didn't like how it pulled on the back of my head due to the way the straps were rigged and if you didn't get them tight enough you risked the headset moving around in game. This Bioherm head strap is a big improvement. It's easy to attach to the Quest 2 and it's far more comfortable than the original strap. The adjusting knob on the back makes adjusting the side straps a cinch. It's also much more comfortable to wear thanks to the rear bracket of the strap cradling the back of my head over a larger area than the original strap. My nephew liked it so much he purchased the model with the external battery in the head strap a few days after trying this one! I would highly recommend giving this strap a try.

The instructions don't tell you how to remove the original strap so you can swap it out. I found a video that showed how and it's easy. Look for instructions online that show you how to do it. Put the black band on first. I put mine on after connecting the piece to the headset.The side straps will fold out. Then, you'll put the top band on. It's definitely more comfortable and easier to get on and off. You turn the knob to make it tighter or looser. It says the backside has a battery. I am not sure about that and haven't been able to tell a difference about battery life. One star removed for bad instructions and lack of information about the battery.

I first saw a similar Oculus head strap while on a beach vacation with our in-laws. Their kids were able to play their Oculus for hours on end without ever needing to readjust or take a break. When I saw the Hiboherm Head Strap, I jumped at the opportunity to try it. Sure, it does NOT offer extra battery life like some of its competitors, but I also do not want our kids on the Oculus all day long either. The playing time that the stock battery provides is enough.The build quality of the head strap appears solid and it will last for years. The least favorable feedback I can give on the product is the installation and lack of clear instructions. Like many products made overseas, the installation instructions are MAINLY pictures. I had to figure out how to remove the stock headband first. Once I did it took me several minutes to figure out just how to attach this headband to the Oculus. After realizing the arms needed to be unfolded/rotated to their longest position before attempting to attach the headband to the Oculus, I was finally off to the races.Once all installed, my whole family tried it on and practiced using the turning dial on the back to get a perfect fit for each of our heads.I highly recommend this low-cost, high-value Oculus head strap.

This head strap is pretty inexpensive and I was expecting anything premium out of it.That being said, I noticed that the head piece doesn't attach perfectly to the head strap, it's still sturdy and it won't fall off.The instructions assume that you have already replaced a head strap before so it might not help you at all.Once you have gone through the hassle of installing it I can see the benefit as it's more comfortable than the standard one.if you don't mind the basic materials and the issue with the attachment it can be a budget buy for sure.

The media could not be loaded.  My son has had his Oculus VR for a while now and hates the head strap that came with it. He says that the original head strap is too tight and gives him headaches. He was very excited to get this one and put it on right away. He loves that it is very easy to take on and off unlike the original head strap. The Elite head strap fights tightly but not so tightly that it hurts his head. On top of that it is lightweight and very easy to install.He only had a few criticisms of the headset. When he removes it the back head support sometimes comes off and has to be reconnected. Also it doesn’t have cushions like some of the newer models. Finally he wishes it had a dedicated space to add a battery. Overall it is a great deal but would most likely spend more for the above added features.

See picsThis is a very good head strap for the price. It fits me well and seems sturdy by my usage.There’s barely any instructions, but I already knew how to install it. It’s pretty easy anyway. It’s also easy to clean.I like that it’s compatible with 3rd party accessories such as battery packs. I have one on it now and I’ve had no issues.For the price and quality, I’d recommend this.

Works as advertised. Definite improvement over stock strap.More comfortable to wear, and requires less adjustment.Tightening the strap much more convenient as you can just turn the knob.No need to remove the Quest as you would with the OEM straps.Recommended.
