A garden salad with cut tomatoes and cucumbers was still crisp and good to eat a week and a half after it was made. I've bought three sets since, and got rid of the brand name vented lid produce keeper containers we used to have. I love that they're completely dishwasher safe, too.

Ich habe die Frischhaltedosen heute bekommen (gestern Abend bestellt) und gleich abgewaschen.Totale Begeisterung bei mir: im unbenutzten Zustand kann ich alle 4 Dosen inkl. Deckel ineinander stellen, dadurch nehmen sie nicht so viel Platz im Schrank weg und zweitens habe ich jetzt für jede anfallende Menge die passende Frischhaltedose. Bei Bedarf werde ich sie auf jeden Fall wieder bestellen.

Keeps veggies and fruits fresh longer. But don’t open tabs when box is frozen, brittle plastic while show hair line cracks. Overall ver good, and stores well too.

Usually not into plastic containers as I prefer the durability and clear look of glass ones. I was initially not impressed looking at the preview pictures for these containers too, but I took a chance and I must say these are a whole lot better than the plastic ones I've had in the past.I've had another colander + container combination before and it was terrible, they didn't include a lid and the plastic felt cheap. These containers on the other hand include the colander, container, and lid. They all fit nicely and snap in well, and the containers have a variety of sizes for every need. The largest one does well for large batches, and the smallest one does well for snacks. The 4 that are in the set all have their uses and I'm satisfied with them. Even better is that the way they're designed is perfect for storage, as they're stackable and the lid perfectly fits on. Most of the time I have to stack the containers and lids separately since the height of the containers when stacked are too high, but that's not a problem here. This makes it so that I never lose track of where the lid is when looking for it.The plastic used for making these are durable and sturdy. They're not the cheap flimsy plastic you'd find laying around, it's tough and feels like they'll last for years to come. You could probably fling and throw them around without damaging them. If anything, the only part that kind of feels cheaper is the hinge part to snap it on. It does feel more thin in that part and the way it's designed makes it so that maybe in the far future it might actually break off eventually. Still though, they're plenty durable for what they are.Also I will add that it actually does work in prolonging the storage of food. I would still probably let my fruits and veggies dry somewhat first before storing it but it really helps in keeping them from sitting in moisture.Overall, these are so worth the purchase, they're well made and work in keeping food fresh.
