GPS Wireless Dog Fence System for 2 Dog,v20231012

I could not get it to work properly. I contacted the seller a few times and they were not helpful. I couldn’t get it to turn it on and learn the signal. My house is new and I have the most up-to-date wifi signal and system. It is very confusing to set up, I even had my brother try to help me. The seller stopped helping me when I couldn’t get it to work, and since I purchased it before, my house was built, they did not take it back. So it was sitting in my closet, making me mad every time I see it.

This product did not work well for us in our area. This product has 2 receivers. Even set the same, they did not work the same. The perimeter we set was not consistent and the radius varied from 20 feet to 30 meters from the center point where we turned the receivers on. We live in a mountainous area. Possibly GPS is not consistent, even though we had a strong signal. It was a clear day. We returned the product.

Update:231114:I am updating this review and grudgingly upping it to 5 stars instead of three. In spite of the fact that the instructions are not well written and they do not describe how to turn the units off so that you can then reset them, I accidentally stumbled on the key presses that will turn the unit off so you can reset it. Once reset, they seem to work. We just watched our two pups strutting down the street and suddenly did a double take and ran home. Obviously they got the message.It is too bad the instructions for this collar are so confusing because they seem to work well when set up correctly.When we first received the collars, I set them up and they seemed to work perfectly. We had to go out of town and the collars discharged. I had to charge them and set them back up. Not sure what happened, whether I missed a step or the product failed. Bottom line, somehow the center of the boundary got reset and the boundary was not where it should be. The problem then came to Amazon's customer service. They did not seem interested in attempting to fix the problem with the product, but immediately went to "Hey we can issue you a refund." Which sounds OK on the front end, even though I would have preferred having a solution to the product malfunction, they issued the return/refund, but failed to tell me I would be responsible for the return shipping. It was not that much, but a huge failure on Amazon's part of the transaction. Does not make me trust Amazon to meet their stated goal of being the most customer centric company. I still need something to keep my dogs in a defined area. Amazon did not help me do that.

It doesn't work properly. When it does, it's perfect. But, the center point is my room and they get shocked laying next to me in bed. I have it set for 20 yards. They're 4 feet from the center point

One collar did not work right out of the box. Still waiting on a response from the vendor.

Followed directions completely, but doesn't work. Can't figure out how to turn it off or reset it. Direction book sucks as far as any help past set up goes.

Bought Oct 12 for our 2 dogs. A week ago one just stopped turning on. Return window closed the day we bought it I guess.

So far, this gps based fence is working great and the answer for what we needed. We live on several acres and want our dogs to run free but with boundaries to keep them safe. I don't like the idea of shocking them, as they came to us as abused strays who feared people. After earning their trust, I didn't want to risk them fearing again. I chose this product because it gave me the option of no shock and levels of vibration. I use the sound function and vibrate only with our dogs and it is working like a dream. They stop as soon as they hear the beep. I understand this may not work for every dog, but I like the option to start small before having to turn on the shock function. The only reason for 4 stars is the battery life. So far it needs charging every day and takes over 2 hours to fully charge. If I could get a week or more from 1 charge it would be perfect.
