I had 3D printed one of these cones a few years ago, cause the only options I could find were around 60 bucks. It worked fine for years, but finally broke on the 12th-ish use.Very glad to have found a solid metal one for a MUCH better price now a days.Fits just fine on the Harbor Freight tire changer.

What more can I add to previous reviews? 1.62 in. inner diameter meshes perfectly with HF's 1.6135 shaft. The small end goes inside the hole on my Mazda 3's wheels. I've had my tire changer since the 90's. This brings it into the 21st century, where most cars have alloy wheels. Typical Chinese engineering. They'll get you 85-90% of the way there, then with a few mods, you have a perfectly serviceable tool. You'll want the duckbill, too, by the way.

This device helps to keep the tire centered, making it easier to tighten it down without slippage.

This is a very well made cone. The fit and finish are exceptional. The aluminum is as strong as needed and the machining is spot on. Highly recommend.

I couldn't hit the "Buy Now" button fast enough when I saw this one! My Harbor Freight tire machine works so much more smoothly with this cone. It slid right down into my 2005 Ford Explorer rims without a problem. It's great having something on there too that won't maim or destroy a nice set of aluminum rims. That was always by biggest gripe with this machine. If you haven't done the duckbill mod to your machine yet, you don't know what you are missing. With this cone it made my manual tire changer work like a dream! This is definitely a game changer in the tire changer field!!!!

The three pieces are sold as going together but the bolt holes don't even line up. No way it can work together. Sending it back.

I am so happy that someone started making/selling these cones and at affordable poor man's prices.Now, if they will just also offer one the next size larger for old school steel wheels... PLEASE...The wheel-center holding device that comes with manual tire changers is about useless on most wheels and completely useless on the pot-metal so-called "Aluminum" wheels found on cars and smaller SUVs.I was dreading the machine-shop cost of making one of these one-off and I was dreading mounting the tires on the wife's vehicle without one.Then, while looking for something else, I ran into these and man am I ever so happy to find them.If you don't lose it or your buddy doesn't walk off with it, one of these is all you will ever need for the rest of your life.I had the wife's extra wheel on hand awaiting a few things before I flew in on the tire changing project.When the mailman left this in the box, I laid her wheel on the trusty old Harbor Freight tire changer, slid this wonderful cone down the post and into the center of the wheel, and snugged it down with that internal threaded tube thingie - you guys know what I am talking about - ; and, from that moment forward, I knew that my life was going to be much better.If you have a manual tire changer, get one of these on the way today.
