Fits the Yi camera well. The external button makes good solid contact with the camera button. The rear viewer is clear and you’re able to see the entire screen. The lens area is also well formed and produces crisp clear photos and video without artificial glares or bright spots. I have taken this under salt water now a couple of times and it works great. I do make sure to rinse it with fresh water after using it though. If you take care of it I’m sure it’ll last. Very nice case at a great price.

Bought this just before my latest diving trip to Curacao and after 14 dives, over 400 photos and depths ranging frommy deepest at 94 ft. to my average of 50ft on dives, it has functioned perfectly. Bot a touch screen model, but if you decide ahead of time whether you want video or just pictures you won't be diappointed. great for closeups and distances. The seals are great, I used my silicone sealant once for the entire time which means opening the case at elast 7 times to take out the camer, change mini-cards or to charge the battery and it always sealed up great. I also put one small dehydration square into the base of the case so that there isn't any chance of fog-up when the temperatures change especially if you go deep and hit the thermocline.

A great case, nice and solidly locking and a very clear lens. I attached a photo. I cannot attest to its waterproofing. The Yi 4K fits perfectly and the mic still works pretty well with the case on. If the lens gets scratched easily I’ll modify this post.

Hard to find this type of case now. Was a little worried that it won't be waterproof. Went snorkeling with it and it worked really well.

After receiving the case, I put it on my Yi Action Cam 4k and it seems to fit well. The camera doesn't move around in this case and stays put. I have not used it in water yet but I plan to in my upcoming trip.

Cannot use the touch screen, but the Yi Camera 4K has a waterproof case mode that allows operating without using the touch screen. Look at the pics, it is soooo fun to use it underwater!

I was really hoping that this case would be the one for me. I mounted the case to my paintball mask and did some tests, the videos seemed clear enough. When I took it out to go play, everything was fine and dandy... Until I took a direct hit to the case itself, and when I was cleaning it off after the match I noticed the power button and spring had popped out! Too good to be true. I tried getting it back together enough to play, which worked, but I still haven't been able to get it fully assembled appropriately. I gave this case a generous 3 star review. After all, I was playing paintball. Paintballs shoot out at about 280 feet per second. However, there are plenty of people who use action cameras. Many or most of these people take direct hits to the camera and come out just fine.

Ich verwende dieses wasserfeste Gehäuse für meine YI 4K regelmäßig als Hintertorkamera bei Fußballspielen eines Regionalligisten. Logisch, dass da ein recht hoher Anspruch an die Qualität besteht. Meine Eindrücke kurz und knapp: - es hat Starkregen und Hagel mehrfach unbeschadet überlebt, nichts kam ins Gehäuse - es hat mehrfache Angriffe von Kindern und Erwachsenen Fußballern überlebt - es fühlt sich nicht wertig, aber robust an - die Verschlussklappe verschließt sehr fest und lässt sich einfach bedienen - es ist gut verarbeitet, man kann sich an keiner Stelle am Plastik schneiden, wie es bei anderen Zubehörteilen passiert Insgesamt ein empfehlenswertes Produkt. Ich werde es nicht nochmal kaufen, schließlich überlebt es alles. (den Einsatz unter Wasser kann ich nicht beurteilen)

I bought it for my newly acquired yi 4K and took it for my diving trip. Great product with good lens. Most of my dives were 50-60 ft but on one dive I took it all the way to 110ft and it had no issues. Pictures turned out ok. Would have been even better if I had red and blue filters for the lens but that has nothing to do with this case.
