A great Spanish favourite of mine, which is very gentle on the skin
We've pretty much outlawed liquid hand soap because even the gentlest children's liquid hand wash and sensitive ones weren't making a difference to dry hands. The dried and cracked hands have gone down substantially since we swapped across to Wright's Coal Tar soap but I needed more and of course, couldn't buy it.I know Magno though, it's an old favourite of mine! It was great to find it on Amazon for a good price. But would it be as gentle as Wright's for the extreme handwashing we're all doing now...?The answer is yes! It's every bit as good at keeping down the dry skin on hands and knuckles. We are wary of using a hand moisturiser after washing hands (except at bedtime) because they create a sticky surface for picking up everything that's just been washed away, if that makes sense. So it's been important for me to find soap that's extremely gentle but effective at handwashing.Magno soap is deep dark black, producing a good white lather and a strong luxurious scent. There are creamy masculine notes at the forefront and a muted patchouli. To my nose it has very slight undertones of a Camay type scent (that old British pink soap of yesteryear that my grandmother always used), but the overall scent is an earthy one with the slightest hint of lemon lurking. It's a clean and comforting scent that lingers on the hands after washing. Although it's more masculine than feminine, most people would find the scent very agreeable I think. It's a great scent for anyone who isn't into florals. It arrives as a twin-pack. Each soap is loose in its own box with the two boxes cellophane wrapped together. The soaps are a really good size and should last a good while if they aren't left in the water!

I love mango products
I love the shower gel in range but i think it very expensive and i can’t afford it, so the soap smells just as nice . It is also expensive but not like the gel

Pleasant fragrance which lasts
I must admit that I was a bit dubious of this product, especially with the way that they massacred the English language. Firstly I wondered, when they said 'soap with a unique fragrance in the world', whether that implied that it was a common fragrance on Jupiter or Mars, but the only place that you would find it on Earth is in their soap. I also wondered about the name, which sounded a little bit like a mis-spelling of mango, and I simply don't fancy using mango soap for some reason. Anyway, I needn't have worried. We generally use Pears soap, which is clear, whereas this is a very dark colour and opaque. This has a stronger smell than Pears, and my wife actually opened the packet and left the block of soap at the end of the bath as an air freshener while we use up the rest of our Imperial Leather soap. Yes, tough times are upon us, big empty gaps in supermarket shelves and we have to accept whatever happens to be available at the time. The best way that my lovely wife could find to describe the smell of Magno is this: 'When I used to go to Spain with my parents as a kid, this is what a lot of the people in the Spanish hotels used to smell of.' The reasons for that are because:A) It's a Spanish soap (the spanish for 'hand' is 'mano')B) The fragrance stays on us for longer than other soap fragrances usually seem to, so if we washed with it in a hotel bathroom then we would still smell of it as we were walking through the hotelGood product, would definitely buy again. ¡Viva España!

Lovely scent
I bought these while we were in lockdown and couldn't find soap in supermarkets or shops. These were good value for money - the are large bars - with a lovely floral scent. The only downside is that they will leave grey soap scum in your sink and soap dish. Not a problem if you clean it daily, but you will notice it if you don't.I've used two of them: I'm keeping the rest for the start of 2021 (brexit) when we may well struggle to get basic goods again.

Smells like mild Polytar shampoo
Well,...this soap with a unique smell...Yuck!I did buy it out of interest, but oh heck! The unique smell is nothing more than smell of TAR. Which makes sense...The soap bar literally smells like mild Polytar shampoo...There it is....end of.mystery.

Surprisingly good
I'll be honest, purchased this because it was cheap and brought my order up to necessary amount for free delivery. Soap is something I've come to really enjoy, I have tried many varieties of soap and this is one I vaguely recall from years ago due to it's somewhat incongruous black colour and at about 60c per bar, how bad could it be?After using it for about 5 days now, I love it. Great lather, smell is nice but nothing near as powerful as you might be led to believe, very effective in the shower and leaves skin feeling great. I live in a very hard water area, but this still manages to produce the soapiest of leathers, and, as a mild psoriasis sufferer, in 5 days it has improved my flaky elbows and knees enormously. Have already ordered more, this is to me a terrific soap and at a ridiculously low price. Absolute no brainer to order and enjoy, highly recommended.

Best Soap Ever
Back in my twenties (about 50 years ago), I found this soap in a store. I loved everything about the soap, smell, lather, no residue. But somehow I lost touch with the product until a few weeks ago a coworker mentioned a soap she loved and showed it to me online. And there it was. I bought it and I can say nothing has changed. Wonderful scent, creamy lather, great feeling on the skin, and moisturizing.

Be careful about weight/price, but it's lovely soap
I love this soap and have used it off and on for literally decades. The bars I had stashed were largish and rounded, weighing 4.4 oz. or 125 g.--very nice for the tub. I wanted to buy some for a gift and received thinner bars, weighing 100 g. That may be the new normal for this soap, but even the stuck-on Amazon seller's label on the soap claimed it weighed 125 g, when the box clearly said 100 g. It's not clear to me if the larger bars are no longer being made, but even if that is so, the labeling and the information on the site should reflect the actual weight and thus the actual price per ounce/gram. Perhaps by the time you read this, it will, but check. You can see the "100 g." in the photo of the product, and if the descriptive wording claims 125 g., you have a decision to make. Do keep in mind that the soap is gentle and non-irritating, and it smells wonderful (in a unisex way).
