For more than 10 years, I carried a Leatherman Micra with me. It was one of the most useful and durable tools I have ever owned. I used it almost every day for something. But then one day I lost it. I have no idea where it went, but I needed a replacement. So I went to order a new one and discovered that the price has DOUBLED since I bought mine! Mine was originally $25, but now the Micra sells for $50. That’s really crazy. I understand inflation and all, but $50? I would have understood if it was selling for $30 or $35 after all of these years, but that was too much. So I started looking elsewhere to see if I could find any small multitool that would be a worthy replacement for my beloved Micra. I looked at every multitool on the market. It’s really hard to find any tool this size that has good scissors. Since the scissors were the main part of the Micra that I used, that was the most important feature to me. After much research, I finally came across the Mini Sailor Scissors from NexTool. Since I received it, I have been quite happy with this tool. It is slightly larger than the Micra, but not enough to be noticeable unless you have them side by side. The scissors work great, and I’m also very happy with the quality of the knife, bottle opener, and screwdrivers. Those were the main features of the Micra that I used. The best part is the price. This tool sells for half the price of the Micra, although it’s just as good in almost every respect. The only feature it doesn’t have that the Micra did that I miss are the tweezers, but for half the price I can live without that part. I highly recommend this product if you’re looking for a quality multitool that includes scissors.

I lost my Leatherman Micra and didn't want to spend $50 to replace it, so I gave this a try. I've used the scissors and both screwdrivers so far and I like the way the screwdrivers open without opening the scissors. Hopefully it's durable and I won't lose this one.

This knife was a replacement for the ever more expensive Letherman Micra. I really only cared about 3 things.1. The sissors are very good. They are sharp, and appear to be well made.2. The knife blade is nice and sharp. For those occassional times when you need a blade this small one should work fine.3. The nail file is worthless. There are two sides to the nail file blade and neither one does anything. You can rub either side against a fingernail for 5 minutes, and your nail will be unscathed.The other utility blades/pliers seem to be fine for their purposes.

Nice tool, especially that you get a choice of scissors or pliers for the main tool. (I chose scissors.)But I do wish they made a different version in a slightly smaller size.

I am so close to giving this a better score but we need to talk about the keyring. The keyring pullout is near impossible to find, and more importantly is designed poorly. This thing hurts when it stabs into your leg. Why would they end it in a point? Why not have a hanging keyring like competing products?
