Really impressive home gym timer and clock
Review of: **SERPHIX 15.2" Gym Timer with 10 LED Colors, Voice Countdown Alert & Bluetooth Speaker, Interval Workout/Tabata/EMOM/Countdown/Stopwatch, Lager Digital Wall Clock for Home Gym, Garage and Classroom**Like a lot of people during COVID, I built a gym in my basement to get through the shutdown period without disrupting my workouts too much. I have been doing various timed workouts including Tabatha for years, and really dislike trying to use a watch in my wrist to keep track of rest periods or intervals, so having a high quality gym timer is critical. This timer from Serphix is definitely one of the best I have seen, and I have looked at quite a few. Some highlights:-Very large and bright display-Colors are very rich and vibrant, and you get 10 different options including a color-changing mode that cycles through the colors.-Volume option that goes from 0-5 (o being no sound)-Includes temperature readout-Secondary display is extremely useful for some modes, such as showing the steps of an interval workout-Option to have a female voice counting down (for example, during a Tabatha workout, the voice counts down from 5 to let you prepare for the next round)-Very easy to wall mount using the included brackets and screws-Remote is fairly easy to use with some quick scanning through the manual. The button icons aren't completely intuitive, but not too and either. And one lowlight: The ability to use this as a stereo speaker for music by connecting over Bluetooth is fairly worthless. For any of you that had a bedside clock radio in the 1980s, the sound quality of this function is equivalent to that 40 year old sound. And it does not get very loud at all, even on the highest setting. Don't even both with this, unless your regular stereo is broken and you plan to remain within 15 feet of the timer.Really the only downside to this gym timer is the price, coming in at $60. But even though it's not cheap, you get a truly excellent timer with a terrific display that will work equally well in the gym, or any room in your home that could use a clock with date and temp display.

Bright and Bold Clock/Date/Temp display
I ordered this to have a nice bright clock in my home office, and it didn't disappoint! The display is nice and bright (and adjustable to 5 levels of brightness). It can also be set to a color cycle mode or to specific colors. I settled on the yellow color after leaving it in the color cycle mode initially. The clock can be set in either 24 hour mode or 12 hour mode, and the temperature can be toggled between deg F and deg C. All adjustments are done via the included remote control. The date is shown in DD' MM format in the lower corner. This doesn't appear to be adjustable in the settings if you want to show the date in MM DD format. It does lose the time settings if it loses power, so I have it plugged into a USB brick that is plugged into a small UPS. I also placed it on a shelf rather than mounting it on a wall (for now). Mounting on a wall does require running the power cord down the wall, so this shelf location seemed better for now. It includes a pair of small metal brackets that are attached to the clock/timer unit with some machine screws, and a pair of wood screws are also provided.I don't really have a need for all of the timer and alarm functions, but for my intended use case (just as a wall clock), this works great!

Impressive Looking & Useful for HIIT Workouts
The media could not be loaded. This will look great on any gym wall. The customizable RGB LED color numbers are easy to see. When you’re not using it as a timer, it functions as a clock as well as gives the date and temperature. When you use this as a timer, that’s when it gets good. This offers you several workout modes to choose from. First, you can create custom interviews (NIIIIIICE!). There’s also a stop watch (well, it does minutes and seconds… so this isn’t for precision tracking) as well as EMOM and Tabata Protocol timer modes.Tabata is my favorite and the reason I got this. It works great!Overall, I love this timer. I do have some negatives I’d like to bring out… but I really am happy with this in general. First negative… this has to be plugged in. So what if you want to workout on a track or a field? I wish it had a battery option. That said, you could always use a power bank… but just be aware of this limitation. It does come with a 95” cord, so if you’re fine with having it plugged in all the time, the cord is a decent length. Also, if power to it does get cut for some reason - Poof! So, if this is an issue, plug it into an UPS at the very least. Also, the speaker is not that great. It’s enough… but it could be better. Especially if you work out in a noisy gym.I hope my review helps… this is a great timer and I hope you have some great workouts because of it!

Nice big clock with great features
Great for a home gym+. Has features for AMRAP timing and other exercise things. I haven't really used them though, just the countdown and the clock function. Does have built in USB speakers which aren't bad and will work in a pinch, but I wouldn't say they are as good as proper speakers. But what do you want from a clock??

Bulb issue
Purchased this timer last year. Nice looking timer however set up was difficult and the app wouldn't save the settings. Also the led bulbs suddenly changed colors on parts of the numbers. Returned it.
