This pillow speaker has been such a life changer for me. I’ve been living with tinnitus for about 6 years or so now and went from listening to my phone under the pillow, to a rechargeable headband speaker thing, to this which I purchased Jan 2024. The Bluetooth is super reliable and has never disconnected, and the volume is widely adjustable making it perfect for tinnitus masking or listening to audiobooks in bed. It is very flat and comfortable, hardly noticing it’s actually there. I place the speaker in my pillow case, underneath my pillow and it stays very well, hardly needing to be adjusted once it’s in there. I have used this literally every single night since I got it, including bringing it with me when traveling; I have definitely gotten my use out of it and it’s still holding up fairly well. Unfortunately I think my partner accidentally tugged my pillow forgetting it was in there which has caused some of the wiring to come loose as I have to wiggle the cord near the remote base to get full audio sound coming from one of the speakers. I would absolutely buy this again and keep my current one for travel.

I've been trying to find a better solution than sleeping on my phone. This one gives 3 options. Bluetooth, aux, and built in sounds. Bluetooth works great, stayed connected for 8 hours. For anyone who thinks this isn't loud enough you're nuts. I place it under the sheet, under my pillow and the volume is at like 25%. This is a sleep solution. When placing under the pillowcase (like recommended) and 100% volume, you can easily hear it across the room. This is a sleep speaker. Audio quality is plenty good enough, its not designed as "high quality dynamic range" and that's okay, it has tiny speakers. At this point I'm testing for longevity.

The product itself seems pretty good. My wife loves the sound quality although she wishes it could go a little louder. We had an issue about the usage of the item at first and I spoke with a very nice representative of Avantree who said she would pass the info on to one of the engineers and they would get back to me via email or phone. I am still waiting. I figured out how to reconcile my issue but would have liked a representative to respond nevertheless. About the only thing we don't care for is that the item does not default to the last setting when it is turned on again, thus having to go through all the sounds again to reprogram it and that it doesn't get loud enough. Other than that, everything is fine.

I love this product! I’ve tried 4 different sleep headbands and every single one was too big and kept falling off my head. This sleep pillow is perfect! It’s so comfortable for me because I love things a little more sturdy. It’s louder than most headbands and I can hear it in the middle of the pillow! The sound is perfect and adjusts great. I use this for subliminals to rewire my mind and it’s very important that I can hear it continuously. This is perfect for my needs. I love the Bluetooth and I love that I can just use it plugged in. Don’t ever worry about the battery if you keep it plugged!

I got gen1 for the plug in and aux features. While the preloaded nature sounds were clear, the aux feature included a loud hum.

Great Design, Great Quality, Great Sound. I bought this for my wife 8 months ago and would by it again. My wife likes to watch tv at night. I like to sleep. This speaker has been a blessing. She uses it every night under her pillow and loves it. It was very easy to setup with our tv. It has great sound quality and appears to be very durable. After 8 months of nightly use it still looks and works like brand new. I highly recommend this.

I have tried several pillow speakers (those small rectangle ones you place under the pillow), that you don't hardly hear, and I returned them, even the stupid stereo head bands you place around your head that cause you to sweat during the night. How in the world could anyone sleep with a WIDE band around your head beats me. This unit you can hear under the pillow, even on top of the pillow under the pillow cover. I use my iPad Bluetooth to connect. The speakers are GREAT! Now the reason for the 4.7 stars: IF only it didn't have the wires to mess with coming out of the pillow case. Once the company can use a recharge battery, that would get rid of one wire. If they had an app to control all the settings, that would get ride of the 2nd wire. If they come out with at least the recharge battery to get ride of the one wire, I would buy the product again. Overall: it's still worth buying! Just hope it holds up, and the wires don't break. Comes with a 2 year warranty that I will need to scan on my iPhone to get.

Update to original review below: This was a great under pillow speaker, until speakers stopped working at about 6 month mark, there is a crackling sound on any setting. Such a disappointment, had hoped for a longer lifespan especially with the price tag of this item. Still looking for the perfect pillow speaker. Being generous with 3 stars for how nice it was while it worked. Original Review: I have tried many pillow speakers (audiobook addiction and a husband), this is the only one that I can actually hear from under my pillow! I never liked the ones I have to sleep on directly and have cycled through several. If you need an under pillow speaker that is actually loud enough to hear from under your pillow, this is the one.

Mio figlio quasi maggiorenne, ha iniziato ad addormentarsi con il cellulare nel letto, a volte anche in carica. Lui afferma che lo usa per prendere sonno…Sapendo però del pericolo che rischia facendo così, ho iniziato a fare una ricerca per trovare un prodotto che potesse essere utile per lo scopo. Ho acquistato il slumber … avrei voluto prendere l’ultimo modello ricaricabile ma ahimè non è ancora disponibile. Comunque mio figlio è molto soddisfatto. È molto facile ed intuitivo da usare. Lui mette il cellulare in carica lontano dal letto e con il bluetooth condivide con il slumber quello che vuole ascoltare… avendo il timer si spegne automaticamente, dandogli il tempo di addormentarsi come gli piace fare, senza nessun pericolo. Per un suono migliore si pone nella federa ma sopra il cuscino. Può essere scomodo per alcuni, ma mio figlio è contento.

Went from earphones, to sleepmask to this. Not going back, this is perfect. Great sound, multiple options, stays plugged in so doesn't run out of juice at 4 am, it's absolutely perfect for sleeping playlist . The included sounds are ok, will listen sometimes too.

This is better than I expected. The sound is very good and I appreciate the volume control. I've tried its bluetooth and aux in functions, both work well. Being able to copy sounds onto the Slumber itself is really nice too, its very convenient. Also I like that it draws power from mains, I don't have to worry about charging batteries. The only odd thing is that some of the sounds that come pre-installed on the device are not good for looping, some fade in/out giving an interrupt in the pattern. However that is easily resolved by replacing the sounds with your own, so I consider this a non-issue. I'm a very light sleeper and worried the feeling of the "bumps" of the speakers would hinder my sleep. But they are only slightly noticeable, and to be safe I got a large flat pillow for this, large enough that the speakers rest above my head and not directly under. Very happy :)
