I really want to love this knife but... Locking mechanism is outstanding, love the thumb studs and the flipper tab. Blade shape is great, overall feel and appearance is great. The bad... Pocket clip has a single screw and is already loose after one month of EDC. Blade metal is beyond subpar. At this price range, and from this brand, something much better should have been used. Edge retention is marginal at best, corrosion resistance is the same. CRKT do better..

I bought this knife on October 3 got delivered on October 6. Was showing my wife how it worked on October 16 and when I closed it, it came apart in pieces. Took me a hour to find all the pieces. Went to Amazon page that told me to go to manufacture. I called CRKT about what happened and was told it has happened before might be just a bad knife. I should take to a shipping company and get it insured they will not be responsible. Sell me a bad knife then tell me to pay for shipping and insurance. Not a very good way to make new or good relations with customers. Poor on all counts Amazon and CRKT.

Great knife. Just right size, for my every day carry and general use. Really like the blade unlock at the pivot as it’s quite like a mag release on a hand gun.

I really like the knife and the dead bolt lock. However the blade is stiff to open and the lock operation is NOT smooth out of the box. I could adjust the blade tension but the lock seems like a machining issue. I also like the adjustable close detente. I may just return the knife unless CRKT can suggest a remedy.I haven’t seen other reviews with this issue so maybe a bad batch??

Very well, built knife, very robust locking mechanism is very unique and fun to play with if you like to fidget with your knives
