Worked as expected on a Mini Cooper
Actually only needed the pigtail and not the sensor. This was used for my 2013 Mini Roadster. My temp sensor was still good but the wires were chewed off by some inconsiderate furry being. I buttspliced the wires and plug to the existing wires on the vehicle that weren’t chewed and I used the original sensor. It plugged right in like the original connector and it worked great. I can’t comment on the sensor that came with it, but I’ll keep that as a spare. The temperature read accurately and my convertible roof started working again. Mini no likey allowing the roof to retract if the sensor is reading -40F. Cheap fix if you’re somewhat mechanically handy. Waaaaaay cheaper than a dealer fix.

Perfect. It works and is accurate.
On my BMW 550 F10, removing the passenger front wheel was required to remove two 8mm hex screws and a short piece of the brake duct to access the probe. Reach into the duct from the wheel well and gently wiggle UP the old probe, and then disconnect plug. Get a 9 year old to do this if possible. A$10 part saved me hundreds. It includes a female socket to go with the new air temp sensor. I didn’t need the socket, so saved it for future use in case of a mouse attack. I sprayed DeoxIt into the original female socket & plugged in the new probe. I checked the temp against two different digital hygrometers. Perfect 75°F. Done!

Do not waste your money
The connector does not connect to the sensor, the contacs are too short. POS. Because of this fault the mechanics wasted and extra hour which cost me extra $150.

Garbage Product
Garbage product. Wiring clip doesn’t actually fit temp sensor without modifying the weather seal, and barely holds on when modified. You have to tape the sensor on to the clip to get it to hold. Reads ~5C high. Save your money and buy something better.
