Good price. Probably a genuine Tecumseh part. YouTube video shows how to do it. Basically use a thin blade screwdriver to pry out the retaining ring. Pry the old bulb out, clean the groove, and pop the new bulb in with the old ring. This does NOT include a new ring so make sure not to lose the existing ring.

We shall see if it withstands the elements here in WI (lawnmower stays semi-covered outside all year). OEM one lasted a decade, aftermarket that came with a new carb lasted only one winter. Installation was a very easy: remove/pry the ring with a small flat-head screwdriver, and tap the new one in with a socket.

I got it to work. The main issue is when pressing the retaining ring down the little metal petals around it would not bend at the same time so it would become lopsided and would not hold the bulb in place. eventually used a flat head and a small hammer and just worked my way around it until it was even.

I bought this Bulb to replace my old cracked one on my Craftsman Lawn mower that I had for over 20yrs. I checked on You Tube in how to replace....No problem. Works like a charm.

Fits tecumseh lev100 engine perfectly. No install instructions were included, basically you put it in a 3/4 in sockect & drive it in with a mallet(you can find a How-To video on you tube).I recommend using some gasket sealer on the back edge(dont let any get into the carb) and maybe around the front of the retainer(kind of a pain). The included retainer is cheap, so you may need to reuse your old one after CAREFULLY straightening it with the socket & mallet. It seems a bit pricey for a rubber bulb & retainer, but it works.

I installed this about a month ago and it works just like the OEM part. Use a 19mm socket and a rubber mallet to make installation easy. Hopefully this will last for a few years.

This was the perfect replacements for our mower. It work well, installs easily, and is of excellent quality.I highly recommend this product.

I love the price and quality of this primer, I had the mower up and running in very little time as the old primer bulb had a hole in it. Naturally I'm one of many folks that would love to see an actual choke valve on carburetors instead of land fills choking up with old primer bulbs.

I bought this and a filter.My old mower primer bulb rotted off.Pulled the old one off. Tapped this one on, using a suitably size socket as a ring punch.up and running.need rain now. grass is sleeping (aka brown)

Replacement part is constructed as solid as the original,should last many years. Very easy and quick part replacement. The metal retaining clip that comes with the new part is weak and does not hold well, however the original retaining clip is solid made and I just reused it.

Arrived fast will be installed in a few weeks.

Supplied spring clip was a bit tricky to make stay in place but sorted that out and all was good.
