EmmayCare Hob and Oven Knob Covers

As this is the only such product I have been able to find, I have to be positive about it. As the cooker in our new house didn't have a safety cutout on the gas knobs (and at less than 2 years old, that beggars belief in this day and age, but that's a separate matter), we had to find something to make it safe for a toddler.These covers do that very well - they are secure and safe. Unfortunately, they don't last very long, so I advise getting spares so that you can replace them when they break. If I could find the same thing made by another company, I'd give it a go, but so far this is all we have seen.

Easy to put on . But I couldn't put them on every knob as they were to wide. It did the job though, stopped us from all getting gassed! Drove my hubby mad and he still removes them when he's cooking.

2 stars may be a harsh rating but I never got the chance to try them out as they do not fit my cooker. I love the idea of them as my son just will not leave the knobs on my cooker alone! I have a range cooker and they do not fit at all, should be stated on the item specification!

These are an absolute godsend! The amount of meals these have saved! Not to mention the electricity saved mow the toddler can't switch the oven on!

I bought these because the knobs on our cooker are very easy to turn on and within reach of my toddler. Just being near the heat they have started to melt and burned my mother's hand. How is this safe? Why make a safety item for a cooker that is not heat proof? I

Exactly what I expected.

Unfortunately while the concept is good the covers just aren't designed to be used with a normal standard oven.

I have an increasingly nosey German Shepard cross who somehow the other week knocked a kitchen roll onto the hob, then lit it!!!

I found these to break easily. Two have broken already when applying pressure to open them. Could be better .
