The media could not be loaded.  I compared a few of these table runners that I needed for my son’s 1st birthday party and chose this one based on the reviews (photos and videos) and ultimately purchased because it was under $20 at the time. It came quickly (next day) and when I opened the box it was rolled and in a plastic bag. It was secured with a tie, but it remained rolled. I was pleasantly surprised at the soft texture and how nice it looked. Even my 3 year old daughter ran her fingers across and thought it was soft and real. Based on other runners I was researching, to fluff up the grass people ran their hands many times the opposite direction of the grass — which worked as it did seem flat when I first unrolled it. I did use my hands for about 2 ft of it but then decided to run my Shark vacuum across it going the opposite direct again of the grass and that was much faster! Minimal shedding happened during the hand brushing and the vacuum. There are drainage holes. I really like the different shades of green and different lengths and even curly short ones that make it look realistic. And there was no smell!I took a star off (because I couldn’t do half a star) because I ordered 12”x108” and as you can see in photos it’s shorter than 108”. But I’m okay with it since I need it for an 8ft table (96”) and chose a longer length to make sure it would be okay. So if you do need an exact measurement, I would get a length longer than the table you need it for so you won’t be disappointed. I still took off the star since I expect to get what I ordered.I recommend!12x12 squares:After I ordered from a different brand that was cheaper with a lot more pieces, I quickly returned those and ordered from this brand again! I ordered the 4 & 8 pack for a total of 12. They are basically the same quality and style as the runner just cut up. Slightly less than 12” at some parts but. It too much (the other brand I previously got was clearly 1” shorter).I recommend this as well.

I use them as decor and steps on gravel backyard. The green really pops with a large yard of gray!

It’s nice grass but small

Looks like grass! Exactly what I was looking for. Not many people sell in this length either. Will look great on the Tribute Table I'm decorating for my family reunion.

I ordered this table runner for my daughter's birthday party. My wife pulled together a "Somebody is turning one" theme, and we thought this grass table runner would add a nice touch to our dessert table.The artificial grass came in a neat roll, and was exactly as expected. It's somewhat surprisingly heavy, but was easy to transport to the location of the party. It was simple to roll out and arrange, but it did give off an initially heavy odor of plastic - though that disappeared quickly.It's a bright green color (as pictured), and complimented the pastel rainbow colors of the decor we set it up with. The only real downside was that the grass did shed. It left small black plastic pieces all over the place, but I feel that if we shook it out prior to the event this probably could have been avoided. Overall, it's a very effective product - it has the right look, the right function, and offers the right amount of dollar value.

I liked the idea of a grass table runner, especially for Easter… Will look so cute with my little bunny figurines and statues on the table. I was disappointed though that the quality wasn’t better. I’ve seen many different artificial grasses (looked at them in stores), and this isn’t one of the nicer quality grasses.The backing is rough (probably because it was originally for garden use). I do like that it’s non-toxic to people and pets. You’ll have to put a thick tablecloth with table pads on your table to keep the backing of the grass from scratching it. It was a good idea, but it could have been designed better.
