At first I thought it was too lightweight but when you think about using it as a selfie stick instead of as the tripod, it makes sense. The instructions that came with it were useless as they were all in Chinese. Fortunately, there wasn't much to figure out and it was simple to use. The handle was a great size for your hand so holding it is comfortable. It is pretty light as a tripod but once set, you don't have to fuss with it anyway. It gripped the phone well and had plenty of ways to adjust to get the angle you need. The remote was great for taking your shots without having to mess with your phone once it is set up. The remote works by Bluetooth and there was no trouble pairing with my device. The remote had a good range too so you don't have to be standing right next to the phone for it to work. My only concern with this particular stick/tripod is the angle adjustment mechanism where the phone sits. My concern is with the durability. It just seems like the plastic will wear out fairly quickly, or break, if you are not nice to it. But, this isn't a high price range product so you have to expect the quality to suffer some. Treat it with patience and it should last a lot longer. My intention is to use it as a tripod so I won't have to make adjustments all of the time so it should last for a long time for me. If you are going to use it as a selfie stick for the most part, you should probably consider upgrading.

Immediate impression is humm.... seems like it will break with all the plastic moving parts. After playing with it, I like that the unit is Bluetooth compatible (this is hugh). Love the ability to hold the remote and click away. Way cool, I had the old kind that plugged into phone. Love how far it extends and the adjustable phone cradle, which have a slight lip the secure your phone. Love the handle that doubles as a tripod (ingenious). I did notice that the tripod is part of the rod, so be careful when you collapse it. Like how comfortable it is to hold. I'm now excited to use on our upcoming trip. And it came with an extra battery. Almost 5 stars to be a bit more sturdy feeling, but it is light weight.

The selfie stick is solid feeling and operates smoothly. The stick comes with two batteries. The instructions that come with the stick are good. The remote clips nicely on the stick and worked on a Bluetooth timer off my cell phone.This is a welcome accessory for my cellphone. Durable and compact for transporting.
