Pockets only on 1 side. Just a small pocket on the outside that you can write on the "contents card" what you have placed inside.

This Travel carrier is great for the LOL small dolls and other items. The only area that you could put a Barbie is across the top in the one area that has a zipper. That area would only hold one doll. Thank you,

What is the back material besides plastic? I want this for cosmetics.

Back material is NOT plastic. It is a shiny silk like material. Make up would definitely seep though if it leaked.
