Bought two of these to replace aging SunStat II thermostats. Huge improvement; the old thermostats did not like power outages, the new do not seem to care (too much), and you get a warning if an outage triggers the GFCI. The installation was straightforward, but be sure to transfer the two sensor wires before the four power leads. You need flexibility to insert the fine wires into their receptacles. Connecting to the Wi-Fi was straightforward, and the app is intuitive.

I like the layout and functions of this model, by SunStat, my 3rd one in 15 years, yes they do wear out. Specifically the GFI function resulting in error code 7.This newer model works well, easy to program and straightforward to install.The disappointments are it does not show the time of day, it is very bright, even set to 30% brightness and it is deep so wiring must be minimal in the junction box to get it flush.A good functioning product with significant design detrimates.
