Had 2 old laptop drives. Put them in the cases fast and easy. Works great!
Had 2 old laptop drives from family. Put them in the cases very fast and very easy. These work great with both drives. Seem as sturdy as a portable hard drive I bought for myself. Now all the pictures from the old laptops can be seen on the new portable versions, and there's storage space for any new pics/movies/documents. I've done this before and I'm very happy to get a nice portable hard drive from a very outdated/broken/etc. laptop.

Nice enclosure for the price
It's extremely easy to use, works as intended, build quality is okay. Tried and ssd and it used full speeds. currently using a 2,5" hdd and also works just fine. recommended just for low price

Gigimundo 2.5" External Hard Drive Enclosure Tool Free
I had purchased several of these 2.5" external drive enclosure and so far this is the best designed easy to setup/use enclosure for external SSD or SATA 2.5 hard drives. I bought 4x of these enclosures so my kids and wife can have their own external backup storage. Very handy and lightweight.I used SAMSUNG EVO 500Gb SSD for all enclosures. Product comes with 20" USB-A to USB-C cable. The enclosure does not require a tool to open/close, just press and snap in and out cover - super easy!Tested the connection using my desktop pc and immediately detected the external USB drive, tested "safe to remove" and works without any issue. To extend the life of the external drive most importantly if the 2.5 drive is SATA-HDD (moving parts) to close all open application accessing the drive and do a safe to remove USB device before unplugging the USB from the computer.I am absolutely happy with my purchase and highly recommend this product.

You can pay $100 bucks for a passport or buy this gem and put a 2TB drive in it $100 with no software that malfunctions all the time.
