Fabulous brush
I have been looking for a de shedding brush for my lab husky mix for years. I have tried so many and have been disappointed. I came across this brush with its dual applications and thought it looked interesting and reasonable priced.Boy was I impressed. This is by far the best brush I have ever owned. It makes deshedding so much less of a chore and really captures the fur making for a much cleaner house. Also limits the amount I have to brush. This is a definite recommend and great value.

Works on cats too!
The media could not be loaded. Ā It works well on my long haired cat (mainecoon mix) to collect all his loose hair. It also makes his fur incredibly soft. Has a nice grip in your hand. I like the soft brush tips vs other brushes with sharp ends. Have bought this brush for all our friends with dogs too and they love it!

Dual purpose but not amazing
This brush has two features combined, each of which are very useful seperately. However, in this purpose, its still usable but I find that it doesn't work well together. The reason is simple, the smaller shedding metal brush is super useful but clogs easily, and the brush, also very useful, does not. This means that the small metal brush easily collects, but the larger plastic brush does nothing. And then vice versa, the brush works well as a a regular brush, but then the metal brush is useless.Overall, I suppose to save space, this works. But to me, its a brush thats good, not great, capable of two purposes but does not excel at either.

A bit of a learning curve, possibly?
Iām not quite sure if Iām doing something wrong. It definitely works as a regular brush on my ragdoll cat.Iām finding in a bit tricky getting the metal teeth to do much other than hold onto hair, which then I have to constantly remove. The instructions say to angle it for āautomaticā removal, but I think I must be doing something wrong as it doesnāt really feel like thereās anything automatic about it so much as me having to keep pulling hair off of itHaving said that, my cat absolutely loves being brushed with it. Sheās always soft, but after brushing with us, she seems to be extra soft.
