Good for mild to mid support. Check sizing
I sprained an ankle badly several years ago and still have issues with tendons out of place. Sometimes the other ankle hurts too from having to compensate for the bad one. This set of ankle braces does offer some support but it it mild to mid range. These work for me for light walking/activities.I have a size 10 woman’s shoe and my feet are wide. At the time of ordering the sizing chart was different so I ordered an XL. I should have got the size large for better compression. I believe it would still fit my feet fine. The tops do roll a bit, not too much, when walking a lot, but other than that and the fact a smaller size would have been better for me, these braces are good if you need a lighter compression.

Runs a little large but good choice for a post-sprained ankle or heel spurs
I wear compression foot sleeves every time I work out (HIIT circuit boxing) so I thought I'd try these ankle sleeves. What I like about these sleeves is they provide good padding and the material is soft and comfortable, but I found them to be fairly bulky. I'm used to shorter & tighter sleeves (see pics). I wear a 7-1/2 shoe (women's size) and the Achiou's ankle compression sleeves seemed a little big. They went on easily and before I moved around the sleeves seemed to fit my feet fine, but then got baggy pretty quickly around my ankles and tops of feet as I began to move around. I think these would likely be a better fit for men or for women with larger feet. (I would recommend ordering down in size if you are looking for true compression.) Also, I've had a peroneal tendon repair, torn ligaments in my feet, and foot fractures in the past, which is why I wear foot sleeves (yup, I've been kind of hard on my feet over the past 50+ years - lol!). I prefer shorter, tighter sleeves because they stay in place & give my feet good support when I work out. I think the Achiou's ankle compression sleeve would be a good choice for a post-sprained ankle or heel spurs where the extra padding & comfort would be most welcomed! Hope the info is useful... Keep your feet as happy as possible and keep moving!

Very soft, comfortable but supportive.
• Style, brand and version:-Brand: Achiou-Style: Ankle Brace Compression Sleeves (Pair)•Impressions:-The set of 2 ankle braces are very nice, well made, soft, comfortable but supportive with firm support.-Note that the lines on them going horizontally, that is where you are supposed to place the heel of your foot.-They have zoned areas designed to fit around specific areas of your foot and ankle to provide more support.-They are easy to get on and off and you wear and take them off and like a sock or a sleeve.• Included:-2 ankle supports-re-closable storage bag• Size:-Please see the chart, guide and picture in the listing.-For reference, I ordered Medium (M) and they fit my size 7 (normal width) women's shoe size (US) perfectly. They weren't too large or small, but a small (S) would have been too tight on me.• Pros:-2 ankle supports included-Soft, comfortable compression material that's not rough or scratchy on bare skin.-They don't cover or compress your toes (you could pull them toward you toes if you needed more support lower on your foot, you can also pull them higher up toward your ankle and leg if you need to).-While they are made for your feet, you could use them on your arms or wrists (but would be better off to also get supports that are made for those areas).-Zoned support for specific areas of your foot and ankle to add more support.-No metal, stays or rigid areas.-Provides compression like an ace bandage or compression wrap or brace.-They are pull on, slip on (like a sleeve or a sock) there are no straps or Velcro to fasten.-You can store them in the storage bag they come in that re-closes.-Good value for the quality, quantity of 2, features and how well it works.-They are well made and high quality, even the stitching is well done.-Has no unpleasant scent to it.-Good for foot and ankle support and injuries.• Cons:-No wear, placement instructions were included.• Tips & Thoughts:-You may not be able to wear a sock under them. It will vary. You likely can wear a sock over them if needed, depending on the shoe and sock size, fit and feel.-You can freely move your ankle and foot in a normal way, it doesn't hold them stiff or in place, just provides support. They don’t immobilize or provide rigid support. They could be good to wear or layer under a heavier or more rigid brace as well (as you might an ace bandage or wrap).-Be careful and don’t wear them if they are too tight for you or you feel they are constricting your foot.-I'd highly suggest that if you're having foot or ankle issues, pain or injuries to look up on YouTube for the physical therapy channel from physical therapists Bob & Brad. They are wonderful and have a lot of great information and advice. I've benefited from a lot of their info and advice. They have some on foot and ankle PT, pain and how to manage it.

Work well
These work great for travel which is what I need to reduce swelling. They’re not the most comfortable things to wear in the world but they do keep the swelling down when I have any air travel.

Good compression
I have weak ankles. I need a lot of support. I have compression ankle supports that are heavy duty but they are hot so I was looking for something that would give me support but still be lightweight and comfortable to wear as the weather is getting warmer. These are the ticket. I also have drop foot so I use an ankle brace that wraps around my ankle. The combination of this sleeve with the other brace has me walking almost as normal as I used to. The only downside and it may not be the sleeve is that I had a hard time sliding my right foot into my shoe. It seemed to “stick” a bit. No problem with my left foot though so I’m not sure what the issue is. At any rate these braces are made well. They give a nice compression and a medium to light support on the ankle.

Light Compression
I noticed the size chart has been updated from shoe size, the one listed now will probably get you the most accurate fit. I'd gone with a large based on the previous chart, for reference, I wear a women's 9.5 shoe. These have a light compression. They do bunch up a bit on the top of my foot while wearing them, though after wearing them for a while, it isn't as noticeable to me as when I first put them on. They are comfortable to wear, a bit like a heavy sock. Length-wise, they fit well. If you are looking for a tighter compression, sizing down would most likely get you what you need.
